Based in Barnstaple, I have my own studio, but I also travel to see clients in their own homes if they are unable to travel for any reason.

Happy to have been able to welcome another new dread head into the world!
Gemma came to me last year, to have me install a full set of synthetic dreads for her. She loved the look so much she soon decided she wanted to have her own hair dreaded.

We started off by just creating a few rows underneath her lovely long, loose hair, so she could see how she liked them and so she could get used to taking care of them.
But as soon as those first few rows were made, Gemma knew she wanted more... and so the process began of dreading all of Gemma’s hair!

To finish the look, Gemma asked me to add a few colourful decorations (ready for her family summer hols), and she is absolutely thrilled with the results!💗

I shall be seeing Gemma again in a couple of months for her first maintenance appointment, to keep on top of regrow the and stray fluffy hair.
I love my job so much!! 🥰

Today I had the pleasure of installing a new set of synthetic dreadlocks for the beautiful Gemma.
Gemma really wants to have real dreadlocks eventually, but was unsure if they would suit her or not.
Synthetic dreadlocks are a great way of trying dreadlocks without the commitment of having your own hair locked. They are also really good for people like Gemma who want to try out lots of colour options without worrying about damaging their hair with regular bleaching and dying.

Gemma was over the moon with her results, and is now ready to do Christmas in FULL COLOUR!!😃🌈
This combination of dark / natural browns with the bright pink, purple, blue and green look amazing and really suit Gemma’s bright, bubbly personality!🤗
She is already talking about coming back to see me again in the future to have real dreadlocks created... ..and so another beautiful dreadlock journey begins! xx 💖

I recently had the pleasure of doing some maintenance work on some beautiful dreadlocks I created back in October 2019.
This was Luna’s first maintenance appointment since her dreads were made, and they were definitely in need of a good tidy up. Luna’s hair had also grown incredibly fast since October, so there was a lot of re-growth at the roots that needed to be incorporated into her dreads.
After just a few hours, Luna’s dreadlocks looked very different and were gorgeous once again!💖
I love seeing my clients’ dreadlocks mature and grow with their “owners”, and it’s always nice to catch up with my clients and find out what they have been doing since I last saw them.😃 It was great to hear that Luna had received so many compliments on her dreadlocks from her co-workers and friends, and she told me she had been feeling much more herself since having her dreads made.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Tabi, who has had dreadlocks before but wasn’t happy with them, so she brushed them out. I spent 3 days in a creative bubble making Tabi a beautiful new head of dreadlocks with human hair extensions.
I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Tabi whilst creating her dreads, and felt honoured that she was comfortable enough to talk to me about so many personal aspects of her life. I’m so happy that Tabi was so thrilled with the end result of my work, and that she finally feels like herself again.😃💕
