Time for a change…

It’s been a little while since I last shared some hair, but this transformation was too good to keep to myself.

The second photo was my client’s hair just two appointments ago. She decided she was ready for a change, and I absolutely love it when my clients trust me enough to switch things up.

This is the lightest her hair has ever been, and I honestly think it suits her so much. Soft, bright, lived-in blonde with plenty of dimension, making it low maintenance while still giving that fresh, sun-kissed look.

As always, I used ELEVEN Australia Colour.

After 6 months, Sophia was definitely ready for a little refresh, and I couldn’t keep this one to myself.

We brought some lightness back through the hair, but nice and gradually so it wasn’t too in your face. Just a soft, natural lift that will grow out beautifully and still feel like her.

HairCon 2026 was all about bringing my vision of the Endless Summer Girl to life.

Two models. Two completely different looks. One vision.

I wanted to create styling that felt effortless, wearable and beautifully undone. Soft texture, movement and that carefree summer feeling — like you’ve spent the day by the sea, but still look polished and put together.

From loose, lived-in waves to textured braids full of movement, every detail was carefully thought out to showcase the versatility of styling and celebrate each model’s individual beauty.

Standing on stage alongside the incredible Eleven Australia Collective Team, sharing my creativity and bringing my vision to life, is something I’ll be forever grateful for. A year ago, I never would have imagined I’d be doing this.

A huge thank you to my beautiful models for trusting me, and to Eleven Australia for giving me this amazing opportunity.

Back in January 2024, this lovely client came to me after cancer treatment had left her hair feeling thinner and very different to the hair she once knew. Although she was fortunate not to lose her hair, the changes in thickness and texture had really affected her confidence.

At the time, we added tape-in extensions to restore some fullness while focusing on improving the health and condition of her natural hair.

By June 2025, after months of growth and patience, those shorter hairs had finally reached a length where we could blend them beautifully into a layered cut. It was time for a big chop, removing so much of the old hair and embracing the healthy new growth that had come through.

Fast forward to June 2026, and what a difference a year makes. After continuing to focus on the health of her natural hair, we were ready to add some extra thickness again. This time, we fitted two packs of tape-in extensions — the most hair we’ve ever put in for her — creating beautiful fullness while still keeping everything natural and seamless.

Looking at where we started compared to where we are now is incredible. Hair journeys aren’t always straightforward, but being trusted to support someone through every stage of theirs is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Sometimes it’s not just about the hair itself — it’s about helping someone feel like themselves again.
