Claire is going to Australia this August 🇦🇺

She’s off on her travels to visit her two eldest boys down under 🦘 To ensure everyone gets their hair sorted before she heads away for the summer, Claire is adding extra dates to her diary, starting this Wednesday, 27th May.

And this week’s extra Wednesday slot will focus strictly on colour appointments (not standalone cuts or blow-dries) as part of her final catch-ups following her accident.

The Holiday Dates:
🌴 Last day in salon: July 22nd
🌴 First day back: September 5th

Because these added Wednesdays are outside her normal schedule, they cannot be booked online via the website.

We’ve transformed our coffee table into a curated showcase of our favourite things. Now, while your toner processes or your tea cools, you can mindfully browse our collection of local artisan goods right from your seat.

Spaces, like seasons, need a little room to breathe and shift. We hope this little refresh makes your next Nook moment feel even more peaceful.

When we opened Nook, we promised that our commitment to beauty would never come at the cost of the environment. It’s why we partner with to ensure that practically nothing in our salon goes to waste.

From leftover colour and plastics to foil and chemicals, everything is intercepted and responsibly repurposed. We even recycle the hair clippings left on the floor! ✂️🌍

We wanted to share a quick, honest update regarding our pricing at Nook. We haven’t adjusted our prices in over two years, but as the world around us changes, our costs have naturally followed suit.

To keep the sanctuary running at the standard you’ve come to expect - and to ensure our small, female-led business continues to thrive - we are implementing a small price increase, effective immediately.

Why the change?

The Products: Our partners at Davines have seen a price increase of 12.5% - 15% as they move toward even more sustainable, regenerative ingredients and bio-based packaging.  
The Experience: We are committed to keeping those Nook extras part of your visit, from the unhurried consultations to the homemade brownies and cakes.
The Essentials: Like everyone, we are navigating the rising costs of utilities, rent, and supplies.

We have kept this adjustment to the absolute minimum required to protect the quality of the love and expertise we pour into every client’s appointment.Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to choose Nook.
