HEALED RESULTS after just 1 session

The brief for this set of lips was simple… her own lips, just better. 💋

She wanted to keep everything looking natural while adding more life, warmth and definition to her lips.

When planning her treatment, I looked closely at her natural undertones and the cool tones already present in her lips. From experience, I’m able to predict how different pigment combinations are likely to heal, so I custom mixed a colour that would work with her natural undertones while helping to neutralise the coolness as it healed.

The healed result is a softer, warmer lip that looks healthier without looking overdone. The added definition also creates the appearance of a fuller lip shape - all achieved with one session.

This was immediately before the top-up was carried out, where we chose to go a more vivid in colour!

Every lip blush treatment is bespoke. The pigment I implant isn’t simply the colour you see on the day; it’s chosen based on how I expect it to heal in your lips, taking into account your natural lip colour, undertones and lip tissue health. That’s why no two mixes are ever exactly the same 🎨

Before treatment: My client already had a beautiful natural lip shape with lovely proportions. The main thing we were lacking was definition around the vermilion border, particularly through the outer corners, which meant the shape wasn’t as well defined as it could be.

👄 One of her goals was to create a slightly more tapered, doll-like lip shape rather than a wider appearance. By carefully refining the border and bringing the outer edges in slightly, I was able to create that illusion while still keeping the result balanced and natural to her features.

🎨 In terms of colour, the lips had a fairly flat appearance with noticeable cool undertones, which can sometimes make the lips look less vibrant. My pigment choice was planned to enhance natural colouring while helping to neutralise those cooler tones as the pigment healed, resulting in a softer, healthier-looking lip colour with much more dimension.

Permanent makeup is a process, not a one-and-done treatment. Once lips have fully healed, a trained eye can immediately spot the small areas that will benefit from a second session to perfect the colour, even out the saturation, and refine the final result.

And that’s exactly why I’ll always show raw, healed results 📸

Fresh results are so satisfying to look at, and I love sharing them myself to showcase the artistry BUT they’re not a true representation of how your lips will look once they’ve healed!

Every lip blush appointment starts with a thorough consultation where we chat about any issues, discuss colour choice and finished with a custom pre-draw before any tattooing begins. Using mapping paste and a precision brush, I refined the shape, improved symmetry, and created a more defined Cupid’s bow, making sure my client was completely happy before we started 🌟
