✨Here’s my results so far using IPL✨

* Many of the small vessels have faded.
* The remaining veins are lighter and less sharply defined.
* Around a 40–60% improvement, which is a good response after IPL if this is after one treatment.

The remaining veins are quite fine, and another IPL session could clear some of them. Many people need 2–4 treatments to achieve the best cosmetic result.

Next time I will use a Nd:YAG laser and show you the results, this will help pe*****te deeper than IPL and delivers energy more precisely into blood vessels.

It’s better for:
* Slightly larger thread veins.
* Blue or purple veins.
* Veins that haven’t responded fully to IPL.
* Deeper vessels.

For the tiny, very superficial red vessels, IPL can work very well. For the slightly darker purple vessels that remain in your photos, a Nd:YAG laser may be more effective.

⚡️How IPL works

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) isn’t technically a laser. It uses broad-spectrum light that targets the haemoglobin (red pigment) inside blood vessels.

The treatment works like this:

1. The light passes through the skin.
2. The blood inside the thread vein absorbs the light.
3. The vessel heats up.
4. The heat damages the lining of the tiny blood vessel.
5. The vessel collapses and seals.
6. Over the next several weeks, your body’s immune system gradually absorbs the damaged vessel.

The vein doesn’t disappear immediately—it slowly fades as your body clears it away.

⚡️How long should you wait before judging the result?
* 4 weeks: Early improvement may be visible.
* 6–8 weeks: Most of the fading has occurred.
* Up to 12 weeks: Final result from that treatment.

Having another treatment too soon can mean treating vessels that are still in the process of disappearing.

⚡️These tiny superficial vessels can respond to IPL in different ways. Sometimes they burst and disappear immediately, while other times they darken initially and then gradually break down and disperse over the following weeks as the body clears them.
