Life has been FULL lately 🤯

And if I’ve learnt anything, it’s that you don’t need the perfect routine, the perfect diet or 2 hours in the gym to keep moving forward.

If I’m being completely real, my gym routine over the past few weeks has been all over the place. I’ve seriously struggled to get back that momentum and drive I normally have.

But I keep showing up.

Some days I’ll have a great workout.
Some weeks it’s Pilates.
Some days it’s just getting my steps in.
And sometimes I’ll go to the gym knowing I’ve only got 20 minutes in me.

And that’s okay. 🤍

Because 20 minutes is still better than deciding there’s no point because I can’t give it 2 hours.

✨ Something will always beat nothing.

Especially for us women in our 30s juggling work, family, hormones, life… and approximately 462 things in our heads at once 😂

I’m learning that consistency doesn’t mean being perfect. Sometimes it just means not giving up when you’ve lost your momentum.

The hubby broke my 10-year-old hairdryer… so really, this purchase is HIS fault. 😂💸

We turned up with no booking, jumped in a full electric car and spent an hour driving around Vegas with absolutely NO doors and NO air con… in 43°C heat. 🥵😂

Let's just say the “Vegas detox” was very real. 🤣

You can choose your route, with guided tours taking you around either the Strip or Downtown/Fremont while the headset tells you about the sights along the way.

Did I love it? Honestly… no. 😂
Was it an experience? 100%!

Found a Vegas gem I genuinely wasn't expecting… 👀✨

is OFF the Strip but honestly gave me everything and more from what I want from a Vegas stay — beautiful hotel, loads to do, family-friendly AND noticeably better value than some of the Strip options.

And the spa… 😍
I literally loved it so much I came back to the hotel the SAME DAY just to use it. 😂🧖‍♀️

There's bowling, cinema, arcade, restaurants, shopping, Kids Quest, entertainment and so much more.

Definitely somewhere I'm adding to the list for our next Vegas trip with my boys as a family. ❤️

We had ONE HOUR in LA… so obviously we tried to see everything. 😂🇺🇸

On the way back from Vegas to the airport, we made a completely spontaneous detour into Los Angeles.

Was it enough time to properly see LA? Absolutely not. 😂

But sometimes the best travel memories are the completely unplanned ones.

The Walk of Fame was particularly surreal, especially seeing crowds and news crews gathering around Dolly Parton's star. ❤️⭐

If you know me, you'll know how much I love country music, so that was a moment I'll never forget.

We even spotted Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Disney's star before having to head back to the airport!

California… you're definitely getting a proper visit next year. 🇺🇸❤️
