Travel day!!

One of the perks of being a British Airways Silver member is that we were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to Premium Economy. 🙌 The food was great, the flight was smooth, and thankfully there were no delays.

Travelling with kids gets easier they say... 🤣

I'm not so sure! The teenagers definitely have more opinions now than they did when they were little! 😂

Nine hours later, we've arrived safely, arrived at the villa, and the Florida adventure can officially begin. ☀️🏡

Delivery day arrives.... yep more 💩ordered 🤣

In all honesty I bought this haul late at night bored... thinking I was "prepping for holiday 🤣".

Who else does the same, scours for hours on
to think upon delivery... "Wtf have I bought.... Like why??" 🤣.

Yesterday, everything changed.

After years of waiting, hoping and wondering if this day would ever come, we finally received the email we've been waiting for.

Our Interview is officially booked, and suddenly everything feels very real.

Today we're getting our visa photos, Saturday we're travelling to London for our medicals, and then the countdown to our embassy interview begins.

There are still more steps ahead, and nothing is guaranteed, but I want to document every part of this journey—the excitement, the nerves, the waiting, and hopefully everything that comes next.

With just one week to go, it's time for our final checks before we fly!

Over the years we've found a few things that make planning a Florida holiday so much easier.

✨ Flights confirmed
🏡 Villa booked
🚗 Car hire sorted (we've used Florida Discount Car Hire for over 5 years!)
🐬 Discovery Cove booked through Ticket Genie, including up to 14 days at SeaWorld, Aquatica & Busch Gardens with FREE parking.
✈️ Airport lounge already sorted using our Amex Gold card from last week's episode.
