Employment rights and responsibilities. This is a full-time, permanent work-based Apprenticeship in Barbering. You enjoy on-the-job training towards nationally recognised qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, guided by our professional assessors who provide one-to-one support and advice throughout your programme. You usually start your training at Level 2, depending on your qualifications and ability. We identify this at your initial assessment. What skills will I gain? The course content covers the following subject areas:

Shampooing and conditioning
Cutting and trimming
Cut throat
Assisting with colouring
Reception duties
Consultations with clients
Selling hair care products

Who should apply? Anyone can apply for this course who is interested in a barbering career path. As long as you are aged 16 to 64 and not in full-time education we can help. You might already have a job and be looking for work-based training, or you might want to find a job that comes with training through esg.
