Can we talk about something that doesn’t get spoken about enough, because apparently in order to change your life you need to be ‘perfect’.

The guilt after eating cake with your nan. The feeling that a rest day needs to be earned back. The voice that says you were bad this week so you need to be good next week.

That’s not discipline my girl. That’s fear. And it’s exhausting.

Your body doesn’t need punishing. It needs nourishing and that includes movement that feels good, food that fuels you, rest that restores you and people that fill you up.

The cake with your nan? That’s healing too.

Perfectionism will keep you small and scared. You deserve to actually live in your body and not constantly negotiate with it.
