We are opposite Green Park Station and The Apex Hotel - you'll find a buzzer with our name on it. We have multiple treatment rooms, all freshly decorated, relaxing and comfortable, and ready to welcome you all 🧡

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our new location. If you have an appointment booked for August onwards, don’t forget our new address, but don't worry you will receive a reminder from us.

When I decided it was time to step back from my Bath based business, I wanted the practice to go to people who understood what I’d built, and who’d take care of it.

I am now really excited to introduce the new owners - Melanie and Natalie

I have a deep friendship with Mel which goes way back further than the business handover. We met fifteen years ago, building own practices in Bath at the same time, and since then we have supported each other along the way, not just in business but through all of life's ups and downs, changes and moments.

Mel and Nat also didn’t come to this practice as strangers to each other, or to this kind of work. Years ago, Nat went to acupuncture with Mel as part of her own fertility journey. That’s how they met.

What started as a treatment became a friendship – and that’s part of why the handover feels less like a transaction, and more like something passed carefully from one pair of hands to another.

That journey is also why Nat went on to specialise in working with holistic businesses, helping founders build something sustainable without losing what made it special – and why she’s been supporting Mel on the business side of her practice long before this opportunity ever arose.

Mel began her career as a massage therapist before going on to complete her Acupuncture degree, and has spent years running her own successful holistic practice across Bath and Bristol, working closely with associate teams along the way. She understands what it takes to do this work well – and what therapists need in order to do it at their best.

Together, they are bringing a deep respect for the craft, and the experience to build a place where it can properly thrive.

This is just the beginning of a very exciting journey for the business and team xx

From 1st August Mel & Nat will be the new owners of The Bath Massage Company

Wow, so this is a surreal post to write....

After 16 absolutely fabulous years of running my business in Bath, I am now stepping away from it, and I have now sold it on to a close and very trusted friend (who is an amazing therapist!)

It has been something I have thought about doing for a while. Many of you know that I am based in Devon and have a new and busy clinic
which now needs my full attention (running two locations is certainly an enormous juggle and pretty exhausting!)

This is the right decision for me, but of course it has been an emotional one to make, many of you have been with me throughout the years and many of you have become true friends along the way. Together, we have navigated many changes and turbulent times, (Covid being one!) and I want to express my deepest and most heartfelt thanks for your loyalty, kindness, support and trust over the years.

Whilst this chapter is coming to a close for me personally, I am incredibly pleased to reassure you that The Bath Massage Company is not closing, and it will continue under the same name, with the same fantastic team in place continuing to offer treatments and care to our valued clients — simply under new ownership.
