Wedding makeup pricing is always a funny one.
Somehow “reasonable” gets translated to “cheap”… as if I’ve popped to the pound shop, had a guess, and hoped for the best.
In reality?
Decades of experience.
A kit full of high-end products.
A calm, organised morning where you’re not stressed, rushed, or wondering if your face will survive until the first dance.
I keep my prices fair because I choose to—not because I lack skill, quality, or standards.
Expensive doesn’t automatically mean better.
And affordable doesn’t mean basic.
It just means I know my worth… without needing to inflate it for effect.

Prom season is done for another year.
Early mornings, back-to-back faces, lashes everywhere, and enough setting spray to single-handedly damage the ozone layer.
Every year it’s the same — “soft glam” that somehow involves 3 eyeshadows, 2 liners and a full strip lash… but we get there in the end.
Genuinely though, it’s been a lovely run. Fresh faces, excited energy, and watching everyone leave feeling like that girl never gets old.
Now I’ll be quietly putting my kit down for five minutes before wedding season reminds me who’s boss.
Pretty girls in 2026 have 4K cameras, flawless lighting, and makeup formulas we could only dream of.
Pretty girls in 1996 had a dream, a dodgy foundation line, and a flash that exposed every life choice.
Same beauty… just very different survival conditions

I think I’m just too weird and awkward to be a content creator.
Put me in front of a camera and I suddenly don’t know where to look, what to say, or what my own face is doing.
It’s not giving “effortless influencer” … it’s giving hostage video.
Honestly, I just want to do good makeup, make people feel unreal, and get on with my life.
No dancing, no forced chatting, no pretending I enjoy talking to my phone.
Just the makeup. That’s it.

The expectations for makeup lately? Unreal.
It’s still skin. Still texture. Still a human face — not a filtered avatar.
Makeup enhances. It doesn’t erase your pores, your lines, or your entire identity.
If you want to look like a different person, that’s a surgeon......not a makeup artist.

20 years in makeup and I’ve watched the same trends come back with a new name and better lighting.
Thin brows, thick brows, no brows… we’ve really explored the full eyebrow spectrum as a society.
“Clean girl”, “full glam”, “soft glam” — all just slightly different ways of saying “I spent ages on this but want you to think I didn’t.”
Every few years, someone discovers brown lip liner again like it’s a groundbreaking moment for humanity.
And yet… here I am. Still blending. Still setting. Still pretending this time, dewy skin won’t be replaced by matte in about 18 months.
Trends come and go.
Good makeup never really leaves… it just gets rebranded.

Soft bridal glam, done properly ✨
Skin-focused, long-wearing, and designed to still look like you. Just a little more polished.
Always grateful to be part of a wedding morning — it’s never something I take lightly.
2027 diary is open 🤍
A goal for this year was to post a bit more often.
Well it’s almost the end of April and I haven’t posted since January so it’s going well.
Social media is another job in itself and while I’m lucky enough to be very busy with clients socials is just never something that’s been a priority for me.
But maybe once every 96 days is a bit too sparse. So here’s and absolute beauty from April.
