A very personal post, but one that needs to be shared.
For years (as in, 20+) I have been so self conscious about how much I sweat under arm. Short of surgical intervention, I tried it all. Nothing seemed to work other than taping pant-liners to my shirts on nights out because I was so aware that I would sweat and it would leave a visual representation of my biggest insecurity (dignity, who's she?!)
Yesterday the wonderful injected some toxin as per guidelines for hyperhidrosis during our training session, and guys when I tell you. IT WILL CHANGE MY LIFE!!!
Today, I have worked, I have worn a hoodie all day, I've had the heating on and I've run around after my toddler, and...I am DRY! I could cry from the relief it has brought, and yes, it does work that quickly. Unlike using toxin for muscle relaxation, the way this treatment works is different. Sweat contains acetylcholine, which is the very thing that toxin works to block, therefore it's pretty much an instant hit.
I will advocate this treatment to anyone and everyone I can who has suffered (silently or otherwise) like I have!

This week I had the absolute pleasure and privilege of receiving some intimate training with Deborah Rainbow and Platinum Medi-Cosmetic Clinic on some wonderful Fillmed UK protocols.

This training now means I am fully qualified and insured to perform perioral rejuvenation using the cannula technique, as well as skin peels, mesotherapy and various techniques of microneedling (my new obsession, already can't wait to get my next session in!)

I know I've been quiet but believe me, I am constantly building that knowledge and skillset so I can bring the best of the best to my clients! 💪

For those who don't know me, hi! I'm the face behind Bella Forma Aesthetics. I'm RGN Kirsty Reynolds, and I'm currently running my clinics from the wonderful Platinum MediCosmetic Clinic.
Registered for almost 10 years, I finally took the plunge into the world of Facial Aesthetics in November, and have been working hard behind the scenes to build my skills and client base.
When I'm not in clinic or working my "normal" job, I'm being mummy to a cheeky toddler 🥰
