over the past year, I’ve had so many of you still reach out wanting to book in, which is so sweet but not quite manageable just now.

Scotland’s New Aesthetic Regulations – 18th March 2026

Today marks an important step forward for patient safety and regulation within the aesthetics industry in Scotland.

To my valued clients,

I want to reassure you that nothing will change for you.

As a Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (NMC registered), I will continue to:

• Consult, prescribe, and treat you within one seamless appointment
• Deliver the same high standard of care you are used to
• Operate from a Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) registered clinic

These new regulations align with how I already practise. Your safety, trust, and results remain my top priority—always.

To my fellow practitioners,

This is something we have anticipated for some time.

The Scottish Government has now confirmed that practitioners have until September 2027 to become HIS registered, with a medical professional onsite as part of the new requirements.

I will always support regulation—patient safety must come first. It has never made sense that some practitioners were held to strict standards while others were not.

That said, my heart genuinely goes out to those of you who will be impacted by these changes. This transition won’t be easy for everyone, and I see you.

This is a turning point for our industry—one that raises standards, protects patients, and strengthens the professionalism of aesthetic practice in Scotland.

As always, I remain committed to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality care.
