Although I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years - I am new to aesthetics. For that reason I am keeping my treatment list small (for now!).

As a registered nurse I am hard wired to work within my level of expertise. I have chosen to keep my treatment list small and focus on selected treatments so I can consolidate my aesthetics training, build upon existing knowledge and become proficient in what I do. I believe this will make me a competent aesthetics nurse and ensures that you, as a client will be in the safest hands throughout your treatment.

Looking fresh for the summer.

I had such a lovely day with Jill from this week who was kind enough to let me join her for a mentor day in her clinic. Jill was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable which was the perfect learning environment for me.

I arranged a mentor day to gain further skills and experience with anti wrinkle consultations, facial assessment and more practice with lip augmentation. I gained everything I had hoped for and more.

One of the more valuable lessons I took from this day is the importance of how my clients feel. Some mentioned they were called vain for having treatments. Others mentioned they should "grow old gracefully". Having treatments are not about vanity. Why should we not challenge the expectation to grow old gracefully - because what does that even mean? It's about increasing your self-esteem. How you feel in your own skin. It's about self-care. It's about boosting your confidence. It's enhancing your self-worth. It's about you. And I am here for this 🙌

🌸Treatments will be carried out by a Registered Nurse and overseen by a Nurse Practitioner who is fully insured as a trainer and CPD accredited.
