I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see March arrive 🤍

January and February are never my easiest months. Even though this February was filled with lovely moments (which I’m so grateful for), I always feel that little shift when March comes.

There was such a spring in my step this morning. 🌱💛

And this month is extra special…

A little early morning hair and makeup glam for the gorgeous Alex ✨️

I picked up the new formula of Estée Lauder Double Wear at the weekend, and I have to say, it's SO GOOD. I blended in a small amount of my all time favourote foundation, Luminous Silk, and the two combined are an absolute dream ✨️

I never used the original Double Wear as I always felt it was too heavy for the style of makeup that I do, but this new formula is right up my street. It’s beautifully buildable, gives that flawless coverage, but still feels lightweight and dewy when paired with good skincare ✨️ Perfect for long days when you need your makeup to last ✨️

January was a mixed month, with a few unexpected challenges, but it’s left me feeling deeply grateful for the things that truly matter ❤️

🏡 Our new home, my family, our crazy little cat and dog, Gilmore Girls therapy, endless cups of tea, and the comfort of being cosy at home.

Stepping into February with love and gratitude and very excited to see some of my brides this month as weddings slowly start to begin ✨️🤍

For my 2026 brides ✨

As your wedding day gets closer, there are a few simple things you can do that will really help your makeup sit beautifully and last all day 🤍

1. A little skincare consistency goes a long way
If you don’t already have a morning and evening skincare routine, starting one in the lead-up can make such a difference. It doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated — a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and a hyaluronic acid serum are often all you need.
I’m always happy to recommend skincare I personally use and trust, just pop me a message.

2. Hydration really matters
I know it sounds boring, but reducing caffeine slightly and increasing your water intake can genuinely improve how your skin looks and feels.

3. Be mindful with treatments
If you’re booking facials or skin treatments, I’d recommend having these at least 3 days before the big day, just in case your skin reacts in any way.

4. Gentle care over harsh products
Hydrating face masks in the weeks leading up can be lovely for your skin, but I’d avoid trying anything new or strong too close to the wedding. Stick with gentle, nourishing products your skin already likes.

5. Look after yourself
Stress shows up on our skin more than we realise. Easier said than done, I know — but rest, fresh air, early nights and even a few quiet moments to yourself can make a big difference. And if that means meditation… or just lying on the sofa doing nothing, that counts too 😅

Your makeup will always be tailored to you on the day, and good skin prep simply helps everything look its best. I’m here to support you every step of the way 🤍

You’ll often catch me quietly snapping away with my phone during the morning… trying to capture the best angles without getting in the way! Sometimes, the photos that you think will be perfect aren’t, usually thanks to lighting, so I take a few extra just in case. Sometimes, the less staged ones work out so well.

I absolutely love this sneaky shot of Natalie 🤍 She was actually getting her photo taken by someone else, and I managed to grab this little moment behind the scenes. 📸 The light catches her makeup glow beautifully, and she looks so relaxed and radiant. ✨️

That moment when everything comes together and my beautiful bride is ready… it’s one of my favourite parts of the day.
Charlotte was one of my beautiful brides and I think you will agree that she looks sesnational. ✨️🤍

On your wedding morning, I’m not just here to do your makeup. I stay with you, helping calm nerves, assisting with final details, and offering support wherever it’s needed. I’m that extra pair of hands, or the friendly face outside your family and friends, to make sure you feel cared for and calm.

And then… when you’re all set and ready for the next part of your day, I’ll quietly slip away without a fuss and let you enjoy every magical moment. ✨

If you’ve been wondering where I disappeared to… I’ve been moving house (and feeling under the weather) 😷
And to be honest, January is never a great month for me. Even with something to focus on, those grey skies always cast a bit of a shadow.
However, we’re in, we’re settled (ish), and I’m learning that every drawer in this house is apparently a “miscellaneous drawer” now 🏡😂
