Jumping on the trend 🤣
✨ A little update ✨
You may notice I won’t be posting as regularly on this page going forward, as I’m moving more of my updates and focus over to The Aesthetics Studio. If you’d still like to see what I’m up to, please make sure you’re following the page there 🤍
I’ve been a little quieter recently as I’ve been busy training on the CO₂ laser, as well as completing training to carry out weight loss management consultations for prescription weight loss medication — lots of exciting developments behind the scenes!
Just to reassure you, I’m still available via this page for consultations and bookings at Bathgate and Kirkcaldy, so nothing changes there at all, I just won’t be posting content here.
And there’s more exciting news coming soon, so watch this space 👀✨

Looking for Models – Fractional CO₂ Laser Facial
As Cheryl completed her Co2 laser training back in September, we’re putting feelers out to find a few models interested in experiencing a fractional CO₂ laser facial treatment — a professional skin-rejuvenating laser that can make a real difference for a range of skin concerns. These treatments would be supervised by Louise who is already fully trained and experienced in these treatments.
What it is:
A fractional CO₂ laser gently resurfaces the skin by targeting both superficial and deeper layers. It helps reveal smoother, brighter skin and encourages your natural collagen production for longer-term improvement.
Who it’s great for:
Perfect for anyone wanting to improve:
• fine lines & wrinkles
• uneven texture & tone
• acne scarring
• sun damage & pigmentation
• enlarged pores
• dull or tired-looking skin
…and more!
Why try it:
✨ Noticeably smoother, fresher skin
✨ Helps build collagen for firmer texture
✨ Can address multiple concerns in one treatment
✨ Typically less downtime than fully ablative lasers

I’m honestly angry.
Hearing about Botox & wine get together in people’s homes while those of us who practice properly spend thousands on regulation, insurance, clinical premises and safety.
Botox is a prescription-only treatment — not party entertainment. The most shocking part about this is, it’s not just non medics, medics who know this is wrong and already subject to regulation actively do this and risk their registration.
No clinical environment. Alcohol involved. No proper infection control.
How is this acceptable?
Would you feel safe having injections done at this type of event?
I’d genuinely like to hear public opinion 👇

I’ve had lots of people asking recently about B12 supplementation injections, so I thought I’d share a little info
Vitamin B12 can be helpful for people who experience things like persistent tiredness, low energy, brain fog, poor concentration, low mood, or for those who may be deficient due to diet (vegetarian/vegan), absorption issues, gut conditions, or certain medications.
That said, B12 isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. A full consultation is always required, and where appropriate a prescription will be issued to make sure it’s safe and suitable for you as an individual.
I’m also really excited to say that over the next week or so we’ll be introducing blood testing, allowing us to screen for things like B12 deficiency and other common imbalances – helping us take a more informed, personalised approach rather than basing our decision on symptoms alone.
If you’ve been wondering whether B12 (or testing) might be right for you, feel free to message me and we can chat through your options

✨ Scotland’s Aesthetics Industry Is Changing — Here’s What You Need to Know ✨
Scotland is bringing in new legislation to make non-surgical cosmetic treatments safer, more consistent, and better regulated. This means tighter rules around who can perform certain procedures and where they can be done.
🔹 What is the Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures Bill?
It’s a new law being introduced by the Scottish Government to regulate treatments like injectables and fillers. It will set standards for training, safety, premises and age restrictions, and will help prevent unregulated or unsafe practice.
🔹 How will it affect treatments?
Over the next couple of years, certain procedures will be allowed only in licensed or healthcare-regulated clinics, and practitioners will need clear qualifications and proper clinical governance. The aim is to reduce complications and keep the public protected.
🔹 When will the changes happen?
The Bill is being introduced now, and regulations will be phased in between 2025–2027. Nothing changes overnight — but big improvements are coming.
🔹 Why this is good news
These changes will help eliminate unsafe home treatments, poorly trained injectors, and environments that don’t meet medical standards. It’s all about raising safety, trust and professionalism across Scotland.
🔹 And importantly…
We are already a Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) regulated clinic, which means we meet strict standards for safety, cleanliness, training, consent and patient care. While many providers will need major changes, our studio is already operating to the level the new Bill aims to enforce.
Your treatments are — and will remain — safe, regulated and in the hands of trained healthcare professionals.

We used 0.6ml to achieve this look, rather than go in too heavy as this was first time having lip filler for this client. Can always be topped up at a later date if they decide they want to go fuller but I really love them as they are!
