POV: We told ourselves it was just a day of education… and somehow it also involved coffee, London, lots of laughs and a girlie lunch. 😂🤍

Today the Hare & Hush girls headed up to London to continue our hair nutrition education with the amazing team at Glowwa, hosted at the beautiful Williams & Hirst salon in Soho.

We spent the morning learning from the wonderful .glowwa , diving even deeper into the science of hair nutrition, scalp health and how what’s happening inside the body can have such a huge impact on our hair.

Safe to say… our brains are full. 📚✨

We absolutely love investing in education because the more we learn, the more we can help our clients.

Hairdressing is constantly evolving, and staying curious means we can bring the latest knowledge, advice and support back to the salon every single day.

Of course, no trip to London would be complete without a girlie lunch (it would have been rude not to 🍝🥂)

Getting to know the faces behind Hare & Hush a little better… ✨

So often you see the faces behind a business… but never really get to know the people.

So… this is us 🤍

Two home birds through and through. Give us an early night over a late one, a good book, time in the garden, a glass of wine and some really nice food and we’re happy.

One of us likes to socialise a little more than the other (we’ll let you guess who 👀)… but at our core, we’re actually incredibly similar.

And honestly, we think that’s why Hare & Hush works.
We share the same values, the same vision and the same ideas of what we wanted this space to feel like — calm, welcoming, relaxed and somewhere people feel truly looked after.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of running a business… but at the end of the day we’re just two friends who love what we do and feel very lucky to do it together 🤍

Education mornings will always be one of our favourite parts of this industry ✨

This week we spent the morning with the lovely Lennie from Wonderful Brands getting hands on with Yellow Pro hair colour — and we absolutely loved every second.

We started the morning with some theory, refreshing and topping up our colour knowledge and taking time to revisit the foundations (because you never stop learning in hair ✍️).

Then came the fun part… mood boards 🎨 We explored inspiration, found our vibe and used that creativity to develop custom and completely bespoke colour mixes inspired by the tones and feelings within our boards.

Days like this remind us why education is so important. Trying new things, staying curious and continuing to develop means we can bring fresh ideas, new techniques and the very best knowledge back to every single client we welcome into Hare & Hush.

Today was such a lovely day — Lennie Stratton is so much fun, incredibly knowledgeable and made learning feel inspiring and exciting. Thank you for spending the morning with us 🤍

We already cannot wait for our next education day together.
