It is with a heavy heart and sorrow that we are now officially closed for business.

Since we opened in June 2021, we have had several water leaks from the flats above our shop, none of which were fault of our own and each occurrence required repairs / caused closures to our business. The most recent leak happened in September 2023 and resulted in:
- One of our ceilings collapsing.
- One of our floatation pods being destroyed.
- The floors throughout our unit requiring replacement.
- The fire management and security systems requiring replacement.
- All internal wood furnishings requiring replacement, including seating and display units.
- Cloud 9 being forced to close permanently until our insurance claim could be resolved and the building being safe again for our customers.

Unfortunately, throughout this ordeal, our landlord has decided to bury his head in the sand and refused take any responsibility for the poor plumbing within his building or support his tenants. We are now forced to go through court litigation to try and get our money back and expose the landlord for the negligence he has shown towards us and the other tenants in his building, which he has evicted.

Our insurance provider has agreed to pay some form of compensation for the closure, and we have chosen to use these funds to provide refunds to as many customers as possible. This time-frame is limited to any purchases made from the 1st September 2023 to date. If you have made a purchase through during this time, please get in touch via email ([email protected]) with proof of purchase and the bank details for where the refund should be paid, we will then process the refund accordingly. Please bear with us during this difficult time.

Hi All,

We are still working with our insurers and landlord to get the repairs completed as soon as possible. We are also exploring the option to move to a new, bigger (leak free) location. All vouchers will be extended during this period. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!

Just a quick post letting everyone know that Cloud 9 will be closed for a week whilst I’m getting married. We will be back open as normal on Thursday 7th September. Bookings can still be made online.

We are both extremely proud and humbled to have been awarded this years, ‘New Specialist Therapy Clinic of the Year’ by in the South England category. Running a small business in any economic climate is challenging but a huge thank you to each and every customer who has supported Cloud 9 during our current cost of living crisis. We actually celebrated our 2 year anniversary in June but were so busy, we forgot to post on social media. We will continue to offer the best service possible to our customers and look forward to the challenges ahead.

On World Environment Day, we are challenging UK supermarkets to justify their new security barriers which require physical paper receipts to be printed for every customer to exit their stores. Wasting tonnes of paper, per day in a time where we know the damage we are causing our planet. Shoplifting is a common issue but there must be a better solution.
