Sauna. Yesterday I had the pleasure of sharing a sauna and cold plunge experience at - a perfect blend of heat, cold, and commune.

The contrast between the warmth of the sauna and the shock of the cold plunge created a reset that felt both grounding and energising. If you haven’t tried this combo yet, here are a few simple reasons it’s worth it:

Key Benefits:
💚 Boosts circulation – the heat opens blood vessels and the cold constricts them, creating a powerful pumping effect.
💚 Enhances recovery – helps reduce inflammation, relax muscles, and speed up post-workout recovery.
💚 Elevates mood – heat and cold exposure trigger endorphins and ease stress.
💚 Improves sleep – the nervous system reset can support deeper, more restorative rest.
💚 Builds resilience – controlled discomfort trains mental toughness and body awareness.

runs Women’s Sauna Circles and is available for private hire. An ideal way to detox and ground yourself as the festive season cranks up a notch!

Co-working. As a freelance consultant, co-working (and walking) has became an important part of my week.

Having the opportunity to share ideas, challenges and goals with like-minded business folk helps to keep me both focused and motivated, but also mentally and emotionally happier, as it’s become a support network too.

Locally we have .uk to thank for making these meet-ups happen.

They can also be a way to discover new business opportunities and leads.

Do you co-work? Or could you start up a group local to you? And if you’re Bedford-based and want more details on where we meet, drop me a line.

*shoutout to for housing us and providing hot drinks, pumpkin-spiced cake and loo wallpaper insp

World Mental Health Day. Always a day to reflect on yourself and others. Yes it’s important to check-in on your loved ones but it’s also important to check-in on yourself.

How’s your work/life balance, your diet, your sleep and rest time and what do you do to unwind? What sparks joy in your day, your week or month, and can you add more of those things in?

Lately for me it’s dog walks, in fact any time spent in nature with friends, and alone. Fresh cold-busting foods and pumpkin spiced cake from . It’s .uk co-working and grateful miles, and support from the local freelance community. It’s a good book - ideally read in an Epsom salt bath, wild swimming, climbing and curling up under blankets to watch The House of Guinness, and Is It Cake with the 11yr old 💙

WHAT’S IN A NAME? Hi, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself as I’ve recently launched my own marketing + communications consultancy, with plans to also build a wellness community, all under the name of Little Green - hence the name change.

Little Green is all about helping wellness brands and practitioners share their ideas in ways that truly educate and inspire action. As it grows I also hope to build a supportive community that enables connection, collaboration and drives positive change.

I come from a background in journalism, PR, and brand consulting, combined with professional training in naturopathy, nutrition and reflexology - so I understand the business, educational and practical sides of wellness. I’m also a mother to three boys, two of them now teens, and we’re a neurospicey household, so I understand the importance of self-care.

So this feed will be a mix of everything wellness. Work that I’m involved in, but also new research, the expertise of others and my own health explorations. Because my belief is that communication should do more than inform. It should inspire, empower, and spark change. That’s why I do what I do.

You’re on the upward rise of your spiritual awakening yet you don’t identify with those who call themselves ‘spiritual’.

You don’t need to wear long flowing robes or burn incense. You don’t need to sound spiritual. You just know that you’re conscious, so much so that you don’t need to look the part to prove it to anyone.

You’ve come to realise that almost all the foods you consume are poisoned in some way, the water too.

You realise education has largely become indoctrination.

You see through the financial matrix and see the energetic contracts in things.

You are post religion yet not post god. You believe in a prime creator but don’t feel it has to take the form of a patriarchal Gandalf in the sky.

In all probability god is female, as women are the bringers and bearers of life.

You realise the institutions you’ve relied on with a paternal sort of love are actually there to suppress and control you at every turn.

You now see division by race and class as a rather old-world, played-out tactic to segregate what is actually one united family of humanity.

You hear the television give you advice and immediately do the opposite, as a matter of course.

You see the news as a staged theatre show, and no longer take it as reality.

You don’t have a ‘family doctor’. As you gave up on the idea of pills solving your problems a while ago.

The allure of alcohol has since faded.

You like material things because you are in physical form but aren’t defined by them. You enjoy it while it’s here. You don’t care what the Jones’s are up to or what they’re buying.

Celebrity news is not news to you. You no longer celebrate the ones in the tabloids. You’re more interested in your own contribution.

Kings, Queens, Presidents, Popes, Ministers. None you give spiritual seniority over you.

You once thought the pinnacle of luxury was some penthouse suite with clap on lights and an electric car, but now you see growing your own food, having acres of off grid land, your own power and water source and a real tribe as the new luxury.

You reject labels. You no longer feel the need to argue your stance or live in anger. You just do you regardless.

You know death is not the end and the fact that you are eternal is gnosis not belief.

You stopped taking critisim from people who don’t live as the example of where you want to be.

The idea of working a job you loathe your whole life is utterly preposterous to you.

You watch in fascination as some of those around you who choose to play stupid games, are surprised when they win stupid prizes. 🤷🏽

You trust your gut over labcoats. You take your health in your own capable hands.

You’re kind of fed up of old white guys lecturing you on diversity.

You stopped buying or supporting businesses and brands that don’t hold up to scrutiny or share your values.

You see all publicized conflicts as the land-grabs, wealth-transfers and intentional sacrifice of innocence that they are.

You can sit in a plant medicine circle or find spiritual communion on the dance floor listening to a DJ mix sublime music. All of life is now a ceremony with much to teach and much to learn.

You don’t hook up with anyone ‘because you can’, you’re now very discerning of who you ‘plug into’ and the energy you’ll undoubtedly transfer.

You find it hard to enjoy ‘Hollywood’ movies anymore because you see all the blatant programming and find it pathetic.

You no longer are waiting for someone to save you because you’ve taken authority and responsibility for your own existence.

You don’t vote or care at all about the politicians because you see them as puppets and choose not to listen to someone who has someone else’s hand up their ass.

Welcome to being ‘spiritual’ in 2024.

If you are nodding your head to the above statements, let me know where my tribe at 👇🏼

Bittersweet. As 2023 draws to close I have much to be thankful for. My health, that I am learning to navigate through storms and meteor showers, is always front an centre for me. But this has been the year of surrender and acceptance. Not in a ‘lay down and stamp all over me’ way but in an ‘ok let’s stop fighting and start befriending’ way. This wouldn’t have been possible without family, friends and colleagues whose kindness, patience and openness to understand and support me has blown me away. And their humour because what is life without laughter. Nor without the help of Melanie Sheen and . Amanda especially has guided me through so much but also shown me what is possible. For the first time in 7yrs I have hope ✨ But it’s been with such a heavy heart that we’ve had to stand by and watch the atrocities that have taken place on the world stage. I will always have faith in humankind but this year has obliterated my faith in the political and social structures of this world (and they were hanging on by a thread anyway). So for 2024 I feel change is coming. For me that means being more Juno, being in nature even more and choosing the things that bring peace ✌🏼 Because the world right now really, really needs more peace ☮️

Women’s Football. I had the pleasure of meeting last night, a best mate of some dear friends, and owner of and he was telling me about his football club and I was especially interested in his investment in girls and women’s football. I’ve been getting myself into debates over this subject of late, and recently a colleague asked me I didn’t attend any of the games. I was totally called out by a lad half my age 😆 and despite having multiple reasons why (mainly x3 kids and a dog) none of them were a good enough excuse. So this is my pledge to support and to try to get more Bedford folk to their matches. They’ve won every one of their games so far this season and are playing today, so if you’re around Bedford peeps let’s go watch our Pirates 🏴‍☠️play. *Why do they call it ladies football? We don’t call it gentleman’s football?
