For most of my life, I thought I just needed to try harder. To be more organised, more consistent, more disciplined. But understanding how my brain works has helped me realise that many of the things I struggled with weren’t character flaws.

That said, this diagnosis isn’t something I want to hide behind

If anything, it’s given me the opportunity to understand myself better and find ways of working with my brain instead of constantly fighting against it

I still want to show up as the best version of myself. For me, for my family, for my friends, and for my clients. I still want to grow, keep my promises, be organised, and continue improving. The difference now is that I’m learning to do those things with understanding, compassion, and strategies that actually work for me

Here’s to more understanding of ourselves and growing into the best version. If anyone has any tips or strategies that helped them I would love to hear them 😊🩷
