So that's me all finished up for Christmas. To say I'm exhausted is an understatement but thank you to everyone who kept me so busy and I've been spoilt with so many presents.

Unfortunately this week was very bittersweet when I heard that the beautiful Ron Evans passed away. Working in Patrick Mulholland for nearly 10 years was some of my happiest years. I walked in a little lost in life and the team made me a confident stylist and I made friends for life. Ron was a massive part of that. The daddy of the shop. He was the man that everyone loved. Life is short and so precious. My heart is with Patrick and the family.

So I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and lets all remember what's important this year. X x

Yesterday we said goodbye to Lynda peacefully at home, sleeping in her bed in front of the fire. She would have turned 15 this Jan, but after 14 wonderful years, her body grew tired even though her spirit stayed sharp and full of life.

We hadn’t planned on having a Lynda in our lives. A friend asked if we could give her a home, and within 24hrs she was in our front room, looking like she already owned the place… which she did.

She was the first piece of our family and made our house a home. Walks in Stormont twice a day became routine, along with the 20mins trying to trick her back onto the lead with sticks, and the 30mins cleaning her after she’d thrown herself into a muddy bog.

Big nights out were replaced with quiet ones in, with our piglet squeezed between us on the 2-seater sofa in front of the fire. She changed our way of life, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Lynda wasn’t without her quirks…she ate the kitchen floor the first time we left her for a few hours. She was a princess and we treated her like one. She never spent a night in a kennel, thanks to friends like Susan and Graham, her home away from home, where steak was always on the menu (but only for Lynda).

Staffies are known as nanny dogs, and Lynda was definitely that and more. When Alfredo and then Liliana arrived, she became the best big sister we could have asked for. Rene and I were no longer top of her list, the kids were.

As the years went on, arthritis slowed her down, but it never dimmed her spark. The arrival of her pug siblings, Frank & Maggie, gave her a new lease of life. We worried how she’d react to 2 pug-shaped furballs, but she fed off their chaos & energy.

We’re so grateful to Becky, Davie, Evie,Jim&Dee who looked after Lynda whenever we were away. They gave her such care and love in her snr years.

In recent months, old age took its toll. Walks became slower, the naps longer, and we knew the time was coming. We gave her one last walk in Stormont, one last steak dinner, and one last night curled up with us all on the sofa, her fav place in the world.

We’ll miss your snuggles on the sofa. You were so loved and such a big part of our family.

It's been one hell of a Friday!

I'm a big fan of men with long hair but this was super fun and he walked out looking amazing after some super fun chats.

After 25 years in the industry I like that I can pick and choose what I want to do , I'm long over colour corrections but sending a wee neurodivergent girl out with the biggest smile makes my day. A very special person altogether.

Yes I'm talking about the C word!
