1. Go into pre season with a good base of fitness - its important to enjoy your time off but donโt get left behind. Make sure your body is prepared for the load and physical demand that is coming its way.
2. Nutrition - Fuelling your body with the correct foods it needs pre/post training will have a huge impact on how you perform and recover.
3. Hydration - Drinking the right amount of water before, during and after training is massively important. Water regulates your body temperature, lubricates your joints and helps your body transport vital nutrients around the body to give you energy.
4. Sleep - Aim for 8-9 hours per night. Getting optimal amount of sleep is vital to help reduce the risk of injury and help your body recover better!
5. Enjoy it! - After spending a few weeks away from the lads, enjoy getting back in together and pushing eachother to be the best use can be! The rewards will come! ๐

This is a common question I get asked from clients after treatment.
I usually answer with โIt depends on how your body feelsโ
This all depends on your lifestyle/workouts.
There can be many factors that lead to your body needing some sports massage relief.
How hard/often do you train?
How long do you sit at your desk in work?
For elite/high level sports athletes getting a sports massage once a week as part of your recovery routine would be highly recommended.
For sports people who train 3/4 times a week or regular gym users, getting a sports massage every 2-4 weeks would be recommended.
For people who exercise 1/2 times a week or have a job that involves sitting at a desk or driving for long periods of time, getting a sports massage every 4-6 weeks is recommended.

The hamstring muscles are responsible for your hip and knee movements in walking, squatting, bending your knees and tilting your pelvis.
The three major muscles of the hamstrings are the:
โข Biceps Femoris
โข Semimembranosus
โข Semitendinosus
Soft tissues called tendons connect these muscles to the bones of the pelvis, knee and lower leg.
Hamstring muscle injuries are the most common sports injury. If you suffer from tight hamstrings or have general muscles soreness, drop me a DM to get sorted!๐๐ผ

Your quadriceps or quads are often talked about as being one solid muscle. But your quads are actually a group of four muscles located at the front of your thigh!
The word โQuadricepโ is the Latin word for โFour Headed.โ
These four muscles (listed in the image) work together to help you do all sorts of things that you might take for granted, like standing, walking and running. They keep your kneecap stable and help you maintain your standing posture.
Due to relying on your quads to do a lot of physical activities they can be prone to injury. If you suffer from tight quads, donโt hesitate to get in touch and I can help you out๐๐ผ

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage๐ช๐ผ
