June marked 10 years in business 🫶, I could never have imagined how much it would grow and where it would take me. It hit the ground running, I expanded and expanded again, at one stage I had 3 locations and 18 staff and over the past ten years I’ve employed close to 30 people 🤯 I’ve been blessed to work alongside some amazing talented women and being an employer has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, but it has also been the hardest. Because when you employ a team of people, you carry a huge sense of responsibility for their livelihood, their fulfilment and their future. This, paired with the other many demands of running a buisness can be a very heavy weight to carry.
Sleepless nights, panic attacks, relentless anxiety… but you keep showing up because people are depending on you to keep the wheels turning.
And somewhere along the way, I started to lose myself.
I couldn’t switch off.
I couldn’t enjoy weekends.
I couldn’t enjoy holidays.
I lost my spark completely.
The stress came home with me. It crept into my health, my studies and my family life.
It took me a long time to realise that success means very little if it costs you your peace, your happiness and your sense of self.
And that’s why I’ve made the decision to reshape the business in a way that allows me to focus on the part I love most.
You’ll still see our two wonderful beauty therapists in clinic offering the beauty treatments you know and love.
And as for laser, skin and aesthetics that will be solely me. ❤️
For ten solid years I poured every ounce of myself into this business. It grew beyond anything I could have imagined, but somewhere between the responsibility, the pressure and the endless showing up, I lost parts of myself. This chapter isn’t just about celebrating what I built it’s about finding my way back to the person I was before I carried the weight of it all. It’s about sustaining a business that reflects my passion, while also making room for my health, my family and the life I want to live.
I’m so grateful to every client who has trusted me over the past decade and supported me on this journey, here’s to the next ten, Christina Xx

She asked me not to post anything, so this goes against her wishes (Sorry Una) but after ten years with us the time has come for our Una to move onto her next chapter…. I don’t need to write what a special person Una is because if you’ve met her you will already know ❤️ over the past decade her dedication, loyalty, kindness and hard work have been valued more than words can say. Una has been a constant in my life for the past 14 years, she made the good days better and the hard days easier, I absolutely adore her and i will miss our chats and million cups of tea a day.
Although I am very sad to see her go (there have been buckets cried) I am incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed over the years and wish her nothing but success, happiness and fulfilment in life. It’s the end of an era.
Thank you, Una, for ten years of memories. I love you loads ❤️ we will miss you xx

As most of you know we have relocated to next door- which means this amazing unit is now available- it CAN NOT be used for salon or aesthetics clinic- would be amazing for physio, ear clinic, dog grooming etc and can also be stripped out for other purposes! I came to Christina about 7 yrs ago with skin concerns and after a consultation she diagnosed rosacea and recommended a skincare routine. I didn't listen and ended up on the most stressful and embarrassing skin journey, when I had a particularly bad flare up I didn't want to leave the house. I finally listened to her about a year ago, I've been using medik8 at home and having regular hydra facials and my skin is glowing, in turn I'm glowing. I'm more confident and getting so many compliments on my skin. Very grateful
