If you're signed up to my newsletter you'll have seen the bittersweet update about my very popular barrier defence AOX serum needing a slight re-formulation 😔 due to availability of one of the ingredients. BUT, for a limited time, the original formulation has been re-stocked and is currently available on my website. I only have a small amount of stock, and unfortunately this will be the last run of the current formulation. So if you've been waiting to have this serum back in your routine, don't delay placing your order now, as I don't want you to miss out!

I have been working on tweaking the formulation slightly to accommodate an alternative vitamin C derivative, which will work in combination with multiple other antioxidants from the original formulation for comprehensive protection, and I promise to keep this product as gentle as its predecessor, which I know you have loved (as have I!).

Thank you to those of you who have volunteered your help with testing a couple of prototypes - I will send out samples with your AOX order next week so that you can directly compare these with the original formulation. I can't wait to hear your feedback! 

Whilst I'm sad to say farewell to the original formulation as I know this was a firm favourite, especially for those of you who, like me, can't tolerate conventional ascorbic acid serums, I'm equally excited to deliver an upgraded formulation which is going to be just as good! I formulated barrier support serum (along with most of my range) to support my own problematic skin but in doing so, I realised how many others would benefit from a range that was gentle enough even for sensitive skin, or those with skin that's sensitised from strong actives. Not my current nails but completely forgot I took this photo several weeks ago when the sun started to make an appearance! Got several compliments on this colour as it's quite a unique purpley pink, perfect for Spring 🩷.

SOS recovery nail and cuticle oil is a lovely lightweight product is a bespoke blend of carefully chosen plant oils and essential oils, formulated to keep the skin and nail plate moisturised without feeling greasy. Oh and it smells divine with the essential oils of zesty lemon with lavender. This bespoke scent blend also doubles as a mood booster (I really should carry one in the car to avoid road rage)! The sun is finally out! 🌞 If you want healthy, happy skin, it starts with protecting it with sunscreen daily (alongside other sun protection measures - this is SO important!)

I've tried so many sunscreens over the years but this one by Evy Technology UK tops them all by a long way. If you want something weightless that offers robust broad spectrum protection, then this is it. Wears beautifully under make up (it acts as a great primer!) and it's fragrance free. I love the mousse texture as you can't feel it on the skin once it's applied and dried down - no greasiness or making you feel sweaty! What's not to love?!

REMEMBER, sunscreen isn't a suit of armour so make sure you supplement sunscreen use with UPF clothing/hats/sunglasses as well as minimising your sun exposure - especially in the middle of the day and in areas where the UV index is particularly high.

If you want to avoid skin damage / UV-induced ageing and promote a healthy skin barrier, protecting your skin from the sun is THE best way to do that! Skincare actives are pretty much redundant without it so make sure you nail this step first! 💪🏾
