Think of your hair cuticle like roof tiles 🏠👇

🔒 LOW porosity = cuticle tight
➡️ colour takes longer to soak in, but lasts longer

⚖️ MEDIUM porosity = balanced
➡️ best for even colour + best colour retention

🚪 HIGH porosity = cuticle wide open (usually damaged)
➡️ colour looks AMAZING at first… then fades FAST 😩

🔥 Heat styling, hot water, sun + harsh shampoo = opens the cuticle = quicker fade
