❗️LETS TALK PATCH TESTS❗️

“Is a patch test really necessary? “

A patch test is so important as it is used to detect any allergies as not all technicians use the same brands.

I fully understand it can be inconvenient but a patch test only takes a few minutes and significantly reduces the risk of an allergic reaction which ensures a safe experience for everyone.

• For all new clients patch test is required 48hrs before your appointment to allow sufficient time for any reactions to appear.

• After the designated time check the area for any signs of redness, itching or irritation.

• If a reaction occurs wash the product off immediately with cold water and visit the pharmacy for advice. DO NOT go ahead with your appointment.

• A new patch test is required every 12mths.

PLEASE don’t think that because you had it done once you are free from any reactions.

So when you’re prompted for your patch test just pop into the salon prior to your appointment and ask for a patch test. 💋
