Good afternoon all a quick reminder that we are closed to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays as these are teaching days, if you would like to make an appointment please call us Tuesday, Thursday or Fridays. Or you contact us via our social media or email all of which can be responded too daily.

Early warning: immense heat likely Wednesday / Thursday ⚠️

There is every chance 40C will be recorded on Wednesday or Thursday, with the high 30s for most of inland England. Thursday could be even hotter, with the possibility of 41C inland.

With high humidity, this is truly extreme, for any location in the world, let alone the UK.

That’s why both the UK government and the Met Office have issued red warnings.

People and employers need to take the risks associated with such heat seriously. Places without air conditioning could become a hazard, there will be a high chance of wildfires, and public transport could become very hazardous for people with health issues.

The aging population is facing a real challenge too with an increase in hospitalisations expected as a result. Please check on your senior family and friends during this period.

What a year 2025 has been, we know we have been quiet on socials this year but it has been a very different year for our Sapphire Hair and Beauty academy family with many many changes and challenges but we want to thank each and everyone of our loyal clients that have kept us smiling and supported us through it all, here is to a happier, less dramatic 2026, Happy new year to you all.
