When you want to grow your (head) hair out, hairdressers tell you to keep trimming it to stimulate the hair growth - it is the same as shaving anywhere else on the body, because when you shave you are basically cutting your hair, so it grows back quickly.

It takes 3-4 waxes for your hair regrowth to synchronise. If you only wax once a year, before a holiday, and shave inbetween, the wax will only remove the hairs that have fully come through, so the little hairs that haven’t had a “growth spurt” won’t be removed. This causes the quick regrowth.

If you start waxing now, and don’t shave inbetween waxes, you regrowth will synchronise, plus it can also slow the hair growth down and you could end up with some areas not growing back at all.

Hi ladies. Due to the twins starting senior school in September I now have capacity to take on some new clients.

My books are open now for bookings from September. This will give any ladies who currently shave or use removal cream to allow the hairs to grow (minimum 3 weeks growth - 4 weeks for best results).

My hours from September will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:15pm (last appointment at 2:45pm). I do not offer any evening or weekend appointments.

As I am an intimate waxing specialist with over 14 years of experience, I only offer Hollywood waxing, I do not offer Leg, underarm, eyebrow etc

Due to a massive influx of new client bookings, I am temporarily closing my books. I will revisit this again in a month or so and if I have capacity I may open them again.

I’m currently fully booked until the 10th May and I want to ensure that all my clients can get their next appointments in - there are a few dates in the future that are already fully booked.

I have opened my books for the rest of the year - December 16th (my last working day of the year) is fully booked already.
