The Adriatic Sea was the perfect backdrop for a short but very memorable escape. Beautiful views, old stone streets, sunshine, good food, ice cream, cocktails… and plenty of walking!

Dubrovnik, you were beautiful 💙

You may have just met a doctor who’s as obsessed with how her clinic looks as she is with how your skin looks❤️

You might hear both Radiesse and Sculptra described as collagen-stimulating treatments, but which one is best for your face?

If there’s been a loss of structure or volume, I may want a treatment that provides some volumising effect while also stimulating collagen over time — and I would recommend Radiesse 💉

If the issue is more about skin that has become thinner, softer or less firm, without needing additional volume, then I may suggest Sculptra 💉

This is why personalised treatment planning matters.

As we age, our faces don’t all change in the same way. Some people lose volume, some notice changes in skin quality, and many experience a combination of both.

Rather than choosing a treatment because it’s worked for somebody else, I look at your facial structure, skin quality and what you’re actually trying to achieve.

The goal is always natural-looking improvement that makes sense for your face.

If you’re not sure which is right for you, book a consultation. I can assess your facial structure, skin quality and guide you towards the treatment that’s most appropriate for you.

September is actually one of my favourite times to think about your skin.

After summer, you may be noticing dullness, dehydration, uneven tone or changes in texture — and this is a great time to start repairing and preparing your skin for the colder months ahead.

But there isn’t one treatment that’s right for everyone.

✔️ Sometimes it’s about repairing.
✔️ Sometimes it’s about replenishing.
✔️ Sometimes it’s about collagen stimulation.
✔️ And sometimes it’s simply about maintaining a result you already love.

The important thing is choosing the treatment that makes sense for your skin and your goals.

And with the kids back at school, perhaps it’s time to put a little of that attention back on yourself.

Summer happened. You think you were pretty good with your sunscreen, then September arrives and your doctor starts asking questions.

I might sound like a broken record, but there is a reason.

I need to know how much sun exposure your skin has had over the summer, because before we start a treatment that intentionally stimulates or disrupts the skin, my priority is making sure it’s safe to do so.

Sometimes it means delaying treatment and optimising your skin first with specific skincare.

There’s a reason why you only notice bad fillers.

We notice bad results because when we look at a face that looks unusual, overly filled or disproportionate, our eye is drawn to those features. You find yourself looking again… and sometimes you can’t stop looking.

When I treat my own patients, I only use filler when I feel it can genuinely enhance their natural features and improve the overall balance of their face.

The aim isn’t for people to know you’ve had filler. It’s for them to think you look refreshed, balanced and just like yourself.
