40 hours of training & just over 50 hours of case studies later I can finally say yesterday I completed my Colour Analysis Training by passing my exam.
I am so grateful to Tina Petty - Bloome for her patience and for creating a training that worked for myself as a new mum. (Yes I actually started my training back in 2024.)
As a new mum there was no way I would have been able to attend the week long intensives most trainers offer. So even though it took way longer than planned I am very excited to now be adding Colour Analysis to my list of services; sitting along side my make up education and skincare audits.
To celebrate I’m giving my first 11 clients an introductory rate of £149 (saving £40. Below you can see my availability (until end of May). If you are interested please just pop me a message

Yesterday I had the honour of helping Laura get ready for an outside branding shoot.
This is something I tend to only do on request and I am so glad I was able to help Laura feel more confortable on camera. Like many of my clients Laura struggles with rosacea so wanted it covered but didn’t want it to feel heavy or look like she had “loads” of makeup on.
In comes my very trusty Limelife Complete Concealer with over 60% pigment it covers with very little product and because it’s a cream base it also sits really nicely on the skin.
Laura also had a 1-2-1 Makeup lesson with me so she could understand the best way to apply products and in this session we also spoke about skincare- this is something I always do because for me if you are happy with your skin then the less likely you are to want to wear makeup.
- We switched her harsh cleanser for a gentle cream based one
- Added in A serum to support with skin repair and redness
- Switched out E45 moisturiser for a moisturising balm that’s cooling, repairing, hydrating and packed full of natural ingredients.
- And stream lined by removing some of the products that weren’t helping.
The photos below show Before | Then after we added brows (always makes a huge difference) | And the final result or Laura’s makeup.
If you are unhappy with how your makeup sits or looks on your skin and are ready to change that please contact me for a makeup lessson or Skincare audit.
**Waiting List Is currently sat at 4 weeks**

Very excited, just ordered a new mascara 👏
I love my Making Waves but when I’m seeing images like this I can’t not give it a go.
I mean look at that difference 😮
Something exciting is coming to The Makeup Guide 😛 it will mean a rebrand but I’m so excited. Any guesses on what it might be?

I became a mummy on 20th April and yesterday I put makeup on (currently a rarity)
As a new mum these are my 3 must haves from Limelife to help me look less tired 😛
❤️ Making Waves Waterproof Mascara + Concealer #3 + Am/PM Waterproof Liner ❤️
Look at the difference in this photo (full transparency I have blusher and lipstick on as well) but you can see how the concealer hides my pigmentation and uneven skin tone and how the eye products reduce redness and make me look more awake 👍
If you’d like any details of these products drop a comment below or feel free to browse the website link below 👇🏻
What’s 1 thing in your makeup bag you absolutely love & 1 thing your not sure what to do with?

❌ STOP ❌ missing this important step if you want your eyes to look lifted and more awake.
I get it, the little curling wand does look like a mini torture device and yes I’ve caught my skin before as well 😩
But honestly it’s the easiest and quickest way to get better results with your mascara.
Can you see the difference?

If you have reactive or sensitive skin, it's crucial to be mindful of the ingredients in your cleansers to avoid potential irritation or exacerbation of skin issues.
Here are some ingredients to steer clear of
❌ Fragrances: Artificial fragrances can be irritating and may cause allergic reactions in sensitive skin types. Opt for fragrance-free or products labeled "unscented.
❌ Harsh surfactants: Avoid cleansers containing harsh surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or ammonium lauryl sulfate (ALS), which can strip the skin of its natural oils and lead to dryness and irritation
❌ Alcohol: Alcohol-based cleansers can be drying and irritating, especially for sensitive skin. Look for alcohol-free formulas to avoid stripping your skin of its natural moisture.
❌ Parabens: Parabens are preservatives commonly found in skincare products, but they can cause irritation in sensitive individuals. Choose paraben-free cleansers to minimize the risk of irritation.
By avoiding these ingredients, you can help minimize the risk of irritation and keep your reactive or sensitive skin calm and comfortable.
Limelife cleansers are clean of all of these ingredients and use very gentle 100% NATURAL ingredients.
My two personal favourites for sensitive skin are Midnight Oil Cleanser and Quench Cleanse.

Which type of cleanser is right for you?
Cream - Dry skin
Oily Skin - Foaming or gel
Acne - Foaming or Gel.
Oil based- All skin types
Do be careful that if you are using a foam or gel that it isn’t stripping your skin (making it feel tight)
Limelife cleansers are packed full of naturally derived effective ingredients that not only cleanse & purify but also nourish & target specific skin concerns.
Which one are you from the below?

Why your reactive or changing skin needs a good gentle cleanse.
⭐️ It helps remove impurities, excess oil, and dead skin cells that can clog pores and lead to breakouts or irritation.
⭐️ Proper cleansing also preps the skin to better absorb skincare products, allowing them to work more effectively.
⭐️ Additionally, a gentle cleanser can help maintain the skin's natural moisture balance, preventing dryness or excessive oiliness.
Consistent cleansing is key to maintaining a healthy complexion, particularly when your skin's needs may fluctuate due to various factors such as hormones, weather, or stress.
If your current cleanser makes your skin feel tight or dry afterwards it’s time to switch!
