Your lips, but better 👄✨️

This is a great example of what balanced, well-planned lip filler actually looks like.

Rather than focusing purely on volume, the treatment was about restoring proportion between the top and bottom lip, sharpening definition along the borders, and creating a shape that sits naturally with the rest of the face. The cupid's bow has more structure, the lip line is cleaner, and the overall balance just looks right.

This is the difference between filler that's done with intention and filler that's simply added without a plan behind it. Subtle changes, placed properly, create results that look like your lips on a really good day rather than results that look obviously enhanced.

If you've been thinking about lip filler but you're worried about ending up with something that doesn't suit you, that's exactly the kind of concern a proper consultation will put to rest. Tap the link in my bio or send me a message to get started 💌

Skin laxity is one of those concerns that gets misunderstood more than almost any other.

Most people come in focused on one area, usually the jowls or the jawline, when the real picture is almost always more connected than that.

Where the face loses support, how the skin has been treated over the years, and what's happening in the mid-face all feed into what's showing up lower down, and that's exactly why the assessment always has to come before the treatment plan.

This is what I actually focus on first, and why getting that order right is what makes the difference between results that last and results that fall short 👉🏽

The under-eye area is one of the first places people notice a change, but it's also one of the areas most commonly misunderstood.

When patients come to see me about dark circles, crepey skin or eyes that look permanently tired, many assume filler is the only option.

Sometimes it can help, but not every under-eye concern is caused by volume loss, and adding filler to an area that doesn't need it often leads to disappointment rather than improvement.

In many cases, the real issue is skin quality.

The skin beneath the eyes is incredibly thin and delicate. As collagen production slows and circulation changes, the area can start to look darker, less firm and more fatigued, even when you're well rested.

That's why I often recommend PRP for the right patient.

Using your body's own growth factors, PRP works by encouraging repair and regeneration within the skin itself. Rather than adding volume, it focuses on improving the quality of the tissue, helping to strengthen the skin, soften fine lines and create a brighter, healthier appearance over time.

The results aren't instant, and that's exactly why I like it. The improvement develops gradually, looking like better skin rather than a treatment.

Most people think filler is all about volume, but that's not always the goal, and in a lot of cases, it isn't the goal at all. Some of the most natural results come from restoring support to areas that have gradually lost it over time, not from adding more.

The midface plays a bigger role in how the whole face ages than most people realise. When it loses structure, the effects show up everywhere, in a lower face that starts to look heavier, a jawline that loses its sharpness, and features that no longer sit quite where they used to. Treating the midface first is often what brings the rest of the face back into balance.

Here, cheek filler was placed with precision to rebuild that lost support rather than to add fullness. The change isn't a bigger face. It's one that looks lifted, settled, and properly held up, with the mid and lower face working together the way they're supposed to.

Good filler work tends to go unnoticed for what it is. People just see someone who looks well-rested and more like themselves.

If your face has started to change in ways you can't quite put your finger on, tap the link in my bio and let's figure out a plan that's built around your face and where you want to be.

I’m an aesthetics nurse, and these are the skin tips no one talks about but will save you hundreds in the long run 👇🏼

Most people don’t need more products, more steps or more trends. They need a better strategy.

Here are the things I wish everyone knew before spending a fortune on skincare.

1. Stop chasing new products and stick to a routine

Your skin thrives on consistency, not novelty. Every time you switch products, your barrier resets, and you lose momentum.

Pick a simple, effective routine and stay with it for at least 8–12 weeks.

2. Your cleanser and moisturiser don’t need to be expensive

Save your money for active ingredients. A gentle, non-stripping cleanser and a basic moisturiser are all you need. Luxurious packaging doesn’t make them more effective.

3. SPF will save you more money than any serum

Pigmentation, uneven tone, dullness, fine lines - treating these costs far more than preventing them. Daily SPF is the most cost-effective anti-ageing step you’ll ever take.

4. Overusing actives is more expensive than using them correctly

Barrier damage leads to breakouts, redness, sensitivity and the need for “calming products.” Use your actives slowly, sensibly and with guidance. Repairing overwhelm costs more than preventing it.

5. Hydration solves more skin issues than you think

Most people mistake dehydration for ageing. Before investing in aggressive treatments, focus on rebuilding hydration - through skincare, skin boosters or lifestyle shifts like stable blood sugar.

6. Face masks, tools and extras aren’t necessary

They feel nice, but they rarely change the skin long-term.
If you’re on a budget, these are the first things to skip. Invest in the basics that actually move the needle.

7. Treat your neck and chest like part of your face

These areas age faster and are harder (and more expensive) to treat later. Extend your skincare now, and you’ll save on future corrective treatments.

8. Don’t wash your face in the shower

Hot water and high pressure compromise your barrier. The cost later? Redness, sensitivity and unnecessary active products to fix it.

If you've been noticing changes in your lower face and you're not sure what to do about it, this one's for you.

Jowling and lower face laxity are two of the most common concerns I see in clinic, and they're also two of the most misunderstood.

Most people come in thinking they need filler placed directly into the area they're unhappy with, when actually the most effective approach looks at the whole picture and works across multiple layers of the face.

The combination of RF microneedling and strategically placed filler, supported by the right skincare at home, is one of the most impactful ways to address these changes in a way that looks natural and holds up over time.

This is exactly how it works and why the order and timing of treatment matter just as much as the treatments themselves 👉🏽

Chemical peels healthy 🤝🏽 glowing skin ✨️

A well-chosen peel does far more than exfoliate. Depending on the formulation, it can accelerate cell turnover, suppress melanin production, clear congestion from inside the pore, stimulate collagen, and significantly improve how well everything else in your routine actually absorbs. The problem is most people either don’t know when they need one, or they’ve had a basic peel somewhere that didn’t do much and written them off entirely.

Here are five signs it’s time to book one. 👇

- Your skin looks dull and nothing in your routine is shifting it
- Your texture feels rough or uneven to the touch
- You’re dealing with pigmentation that your skincare isn’t budging
- Your skin feels congested or you’re breaking out regularly
- You want to get more out of your other treatments

Not all peels are the same, and the right one depends entirely on your skin type, your concerns, and what else you have going on in your routine. A salicylic acid peel works very differently to a glycolic or a brightening peel, and choosing the wrong one won’t give you the result you’re looking for.

If you’d like to find out which peel is right for your skin, head to the link in my bio to book a consultation 💌

Profhilo Structura is one of those treatments that a lot of people are curious about but aren't quite sure how it differs from the original Profhilo, or whether it's actually the right fit for them.

The key thing to understand is that while both treatments use hyaluronic acid and stimulate collagen and elastin, they're designed for very different concerns.

If your skin feels less firm than it used to, your jawline has softened, or your cheeks have started to lose their lift, Structura is worth knowing about.

It addresses laxity and loss of contour without the volumising effect of traditional filler, which makes it a really useful option for patients who want structural improvement but aren't ready for or interested in filler.
