Sharing a personal and sacred experience that I had the pleasure of sharing with some wonderful souls yesterday.

For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with drums and over the past few years I have become particularly intrigued by shamanic drums. The beauty, the sound, the healing they offer, literally take my breath away.

Yesterday in the wonderfully talented hands of
I birthed my very first drum from beautiful Scottish Red Deer and Oak.

I am in awe of this stunning creation that I have made with my own hands, the process such a lesson in itself. And now as I wait patiently for her to dry, I will sit with and tend to her each day, watching her change and counting down the days until I can hear her sound for the first time.

This is the start of something special, I can feel it.
