📲 A good app for your phone is SignBSL which is a video dictionary for signs
Learn: how are you?, all gone, welcome, help, what is your name?, sorry, thank you, please, who?, what?, where?, how?, when?, why?, colours, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, black, grey, white, brown, gold, silver, light, dark, skin, mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick.
Notes:
💫 there may be multiple signs for one word
💫 there may be multiple meanings for a sign
💫 signs can be regional
💫 there may not be a sign for everything so you’d need to fingerspell or act it out
💫 this is BSL, not ASL or any other SL - they’re all different
💫 speak clearly & normally, DON’T exaggerate your mouth movements or cover your mouth
💫 signs can change, or be outdated
💫 not all deaf/ hard of hearing people KNOW sign language
I grew up with family members who worked with and for D/deaf people and so I was able to learn some signs, as well as attend ‘Deaf Club’ when I was a child. I also have a lot of British Sign Language dictionary books.

Further afield the Midlands such as Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cannock, Tamworth, Dudley, Stratford-upon-Avon will incur a £20 travel fee.
