Why Brows Can Change Colour During Laser Tattoo Removal

During laser to remove old microblading it’s completely normal for pigment to change colour. Our medical-grade laser gently breaks down the ink, but some older brow pigments can briefly turn pink or orange especially if red or white tones were used in the original tattoo.

After the first session, most pigment is removed and the brows continue to fade during a 6-week healing period. If any pink or red tones remain, we can target them once healed.

The final stage often appears pale yellow or white. This is where many of our clients choose to stop, as it’s the perfect base for fresh microblading and a new shape. If full removal is your goal, a final session can be done to clear any remaining pigment.

How does it work?

After each session the ink is broken down, allowing the body to flush it out naturally.
