I know you've all been desperately missing me and my posts, so today I managed to escape work a little earlier and thought I'd brighten your day with some lovely photos of the tiny masterpieces I've been creating. 💅✨

I've been a bit MIA lately because I've got approximately 47 million things to sort out, plus my glorious holiday is finally coming up. Naturally, that means I've been working like an absolute lunatic. Me and the railway workers are basically in the same league at this point – non-stop graft. 🤣🤣

Honestly though... my battery is officially dead. My body is no longer running on energy; it's purely powered by momentum and blind optimism. 🤣🤣

As if work and my perfectly pink little life weren't enough, the kids decided to catch a stomach bug... and, because I've clearly raised them to share and not be selfish, they very kindly passed it on to me too. How thoughtful of them. 🙄

Then, in a moment of pure delusion, I convinced myself that taking two weeks off wouldn't affect work that much. Completely ignoring the tiny detail that I'd normally have around 60 appointments during those two weeks. So I thought, "It'll be fine, I'll just squeeze everyone in around the appointments I've already got booked."

Reader... it was, in fact, not fine. 🤣🤣

I've somehow managed to do in one day what most people spread over a month. Honestly, only I could create this level of organised chaos. 🤣🤣🤣

But you all know me by now... I absolutely thrive on chaos. Although, with the amount I'm feeding on lately, I sincerely hope I don't start thriving sideways too. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm a bit slow replying to messages at the moment because I genuinely do nothing except sleep for 3–4 hours and somehow work about 400 hours in a single day. I promise I'll get back to every single one of you before I disappear on holiday.

Oh... and just so we're all clear... I'm not taking my work phone with me. Consider yourselves warned now. 🤣🤣

Right then, ladies… admit it, you missed me, didn't you? 😏💅

Well, I'm still here, grafting away day in, day out. Thought I'd drop a few photos of what I've been up to over the last few days so you've got something pretty to admire. BIABs, gel nails, gel pedicures, Pro Pedis... honestly, I've been working non-stop.

And with the end of the school year... I swear I've developed the ability to teleport. One school, back to work, another school, back to work, rinse and repeat. So if you caught a glimpse of me flying past out of the corner of your eye... yep, that was probably me, travelling at the speed of light. 😂😂

On another note... I genuinely can't wait for my holiday. My main goal? Sleep until I forget my own name. The kind of sleep where you're dribbling on the pillow and couldn't care less. That's the dream. 🤣

Oh... and one more thing. Miracles are actually real. And I'm still trying to figure out what on earth happens after one lands in your lap.

A bit of context... for well over 15 years I've been thinking about one particular "what if..." scenario. I've gone over it in my head about a million times, quietly hoping it might happen one day. I've worked towards that dream every single day. Then, just as I'd pretty much given up on it...
..it happened.

And now? I honestly haven't got the faintest clue how I'm supposed to react. 😂😂😂 I'll work that bit out as I go along. As long as we're all healthy, the rest will sort itself out.

Anyway... enough of my rambling. Here's a few photos from the last few days' work. And officially... my days off start now! 🥳

⚠️ Warning: emotional photos and an emotionally traumatic story ahead! ⚠️
Last Friday at 4pm, my lovely Leisa was booked in. And the second she walked through the door, I knew she'd been up to no good. 😂😂😂
How did I know?
Well... she arrived carrying a bottle of Prosecco and a cupcake.
Now, don't get me wrong, Leisa loves me all year round, but she only brings Prosecco when she's done something she absolutely shouldn't have and is hoping to buy herself diplomatic immunity before I find out. 🤨😂
So, being the highly professional and respectable ladies that we are, we naturally started the appointment with a little Prosecco, Aperol and Pepsi situation. Just a gentle one, mind you. Enough to take the edge off, not enough to leave us wondering why we'd finished the bottle but somehow forgotten to finish the nails. 😂😂😂
Everything was going swimmingly until we got to the pedicure...
And that's when I discovered exactly why she'd arrived bearing gifts. 🙄🙄🙄
I won't go into details because I gave her a proper telling-off while I was working on her feet. I think she's had enough lectures to last her until Christmas. 😂😂😂
All I'll say is that today she looks absolutely stunning at her niece's wedding, so I suppose I'll forgive her. Eventually. Maybe.
And people still say there's no excitement at Reborn Nails!
We've got Prosecco, good laughs, free therapy sessions, life advice nobody asked for, emotional support, and the occasional disciplinary meeting when required. A full-service establishment, really. 😂😂😂
❤️ On a different note, I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely new ladies who message me asking for appointments.
I genuinely appreciate every single message, and it means the world to me that you'd like to become part of the Reborn Nails family.
I do work a little differently from many salons, so I'd just like to explain how my booking system works.
My regular clients always come first. These are the ladies who visit month after month and often book three, four or even five appointments in advance. Because of that, my diary is usually very full.
So if you're messaging today hoping for an appointment later this week, the chances of me having a free slot are unfortunately quite small. Thankfully, cancellations are very rare, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. ❤️
Please don't take this as a rejection. It's simply a matter of organisation and making sure I'm fair to my girls who have secured their appointments well in advance.
If you'd still like to book with me, all I ask is a little patience. Take the next available appointment I can offer, come and see me, and then we'll get you organised with future appointments so you're always looked after.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your trust. The fact that so many of you choose me means more than you could ever know. ❤️

I've been a bit quiet on here the last few days because I've been absolutely living my best chaotic life with about 2 tonnes of appointments every single day. 😂😂 You know me... burying myself in work as if it's an Olympic sport.
I'm leaving a few of this week's creations here for you. Obviously, I didn't manage to photograph everything (shockingly, I was too busy actually working 😅), but these should do nicely.
We've tackled ingrown corners, subungual calluses (looking at you, Leisa 🙄😂), had a little artistic moment painting some lovely nails, and somehow managed to do it all with plenty of laughs, gossip, and good vibes.
I'm officially off until Tuesday, and my current life goal is to achieve something radical: sleep. 😴 I've even got hold of some magical sleep drops, so fingers crossed they work. If not, and you see me on Wednesday morning looking like I've been excavated from an archaeological site, please try not to be alarmed. 😂😂😂
For context, I've slept a grand total of 15 hours this entire week. Absolutely magnificent. Living the dream. Thriving. Functioning purely on muscle memory, caffeine/ Pepsi, and stubbornness at this point. 🙄
Thankfully, after all these years, my hands know the job better than my brain does, because if I actually had to think through every step right now, both me and your nails would be in serious trouble. 😂

And just like that, another Sunday at work successfully conquered! 💅
I’m leaving you some evidence here of today’s gel manicures, BIAB sets, and those gorgeous pedicures.
Today was a bit of an unusual one...
I started the day with my lovely Rita and her fabulous pedicure, while putting the world to rights and discussing animals and just how ridiculously sensitive they are.
Then came my faithful mini-me, Roxi. And honestly, this is how people are, ladies and gents... I booked her in earlier than the usual 4-week mark because I had absolutely no space left later on. Her response?
"Fine, I’ll come earlier, but only if you do whatever design I want and don’t complain about it."
I swallowed hard but accepted my fate.
So all day I was preparing myself for some absolutely unhinged design. A bizarre French manicure. Ombre. Glitter explosions. Some sort of Pinterest crime scene.
And what did she ask for?
Nolia base and black dots.
BLACK. DOTS.
I nearly passed out.
Honestly, someone gives you complete creative freedom, tells you to go wild, live your best life... and you choose dots?!
But to be fair, we're basically the same person when it comes to personality, so I completely understand the indecision. 😂😂😂
I said personality, mind you... because physically we look like a hyperactive little bichon frisé standing next to a lion.
Me? Short, slightly overfed, brunette.
Her? Tall, blonde, blue-eyed.
Basically designed specifically to annoy me.
So I don't want to hear anyone ever again saying I don't give you enough freedom to choose your own nail designs. Apparently, when I do, you all choose dots anyway.
Then I saw Paula, and we had an absolutely brilliant laugh while I did her manicure and pedicure. I won't tell you what we talked about because we'd probably end up featured in a criminal investigation.
Anyway, today's conclusions are:
✔ Children are lovely... once they turn 18.
✔ Pets are one of the greatest things on this earth.
✔ Charles still hasn't called me, even though at this point even my dad has admitted I was clearly adopted and rescued from behind a bin somewhere.
And that's all for today's agenda.

All in all, it’s been a pretty good week. We’ve laughed, we’ve had a good giggle, and we’ve even squeezed in a bit of therapy... although, if I’m honest, this time I was the one receiving it. 😅
It seems all my ships have sunk at once lately, so I ended up pouring my heart out to Alina. Poor woman. She arrived glowing with positivity, as she always does, and within five minutes I was having a dramatic moan about absolutely everything. One problem, then another, then another for good measure. 😂
But as they say, every good therapist needs a therapist of their own. I’m convinced that after she left my salon, she immediately booked herself an appointment with a psychologist because I completely scrambled her brain. 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, I’ve still got another mountain of work tomorrow. An actual mountain. But when Monday and Tuesday arrive and I’m finally off... then the fun begins! Try and stop me. 💃✨
I absolutely adore you all, and if I’m not completely exhausted tomorrow evening, I’ll try to post tomorrow’s work as well so we can finish the week in proper celebratory fashion.

I’ve been absolutely snowed under with work lately — somehow even worse than usual. So, seeing as I managed to finish a bit earlier today, I thought I’d drop a few random photos of the pedicures I’ve done over the past few days.
There’s been a bit of everything: gel pedicures, Pro Pedicures done at lightning speed, and about a hundred others that never made it to the camera roll. Sadly, I don’t always get the luxury of a whole five minutes between appointments to play photographer. Please try not to kill me.
As for the new pedicure chair (which I’ve been testing for about two months now), I genuinely cannot work out how I survived without it. My back no longer sounds like a packet of crisps being crushed every time I stand up. Honestly, it’s the closest thing to a miracle I’ve experienced outside of finding matching socks straight out of the tumble dryer.
I swear, this chair has been an absolute gift from the heavens. The only thing left to find out is whether it’s as comfy for you lot as it is for me. Fingers crossed! ❤️✨

I always find it hilarious when I get messages on Facebook or Instagram asking, "Do you do pedicures as well?"
Well... here I am, alive and pedicuring. 😏
I offer both gel pedicures and Pro Pedicures, from the simple "just make them look pretty" kind to the seriously complex cases that need a bit more love and attention.
And honestly? The really challenging feet are my favourites. 😈 They keep me on my toes (quite literally) and give me the chance to put my skills to the test.
So yes, if your feet are perfectly behaved, you're welcome. If they're a bit of a project... you're even more welcome. 😂💅🦶✨

Officially, my two days off start now! 🎉
For the next 48 hours, I fully intend not to touch my phone, check my diary, reply to messages, move appointments around, or think about work whatsoever.
Now, we all know that's about as realistic as a quiet house with children in it... but a girl can dream. 😂😂
So I'm signing off with the best of intentions, a cup of something nice, and a level of optimism that can only be described as delusional. 😌✨

This week has been absolute carnage. Between work and the kids being off on half-term, I've barely had a moment to remember my own name.
Up until now, working from home with the kids around has been manageable. This week, however, completely broke me. One after another they've had respiratory bugs, tummy bugs... honestly, it felt like I was starring in some low-budget horror film all week. 🙄😂
At this point, tomorrow they could wake up with a temperature of 70°C and I'd still be marching them off to school. (Only joking... mostly. 😂😂)
Anyway, just popping in to prove I'm still alive and haven't been swallowed whole by motherhood and germs. Despite the chaos, I've actually been super busy!
I didn't manage to photograph every set from this week... because of course I didn't. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But here are a few gel manicures and some BIAB beauties I've managed to capture. 💅✨
