tomorrow is my very last day of working in my salon before I close the doors behind me for good.
I have worked here for over 25 years and owned it the last 15 years.
I will miss it greatly. Seeing all my wonderful friends and clients every day. Missing our chats. Making new friends.
It has finally come round and its come quick.
It's a very sad moment for me indeed.
Once again I want to thank all of my loyal customers who have stayed with me throughout. I've enjoyed my time there.
But its time for a new chapter in my life and it is the best thing for me right now.
I will enjoy all the wonderful memories and treasure them forever.

It is with great sadness I have to say that in 8 weeks time our doors will be closing.
Covid/lockdowns have had a massive knock on effect on us and now my lease is due to be renewed. I have tried to negotiate with BVT but have been unsuccessful to keep us from having an increase on the rent.
After working up here for over 25 years I have seen a huge decline at the Green, especially over the last few years where both shops either side of me have been closed.
Unfortunately Shenley Green isn't what it used to be!
If there is anyone who wants to keep in touch with me, you are more than welcome through Facebook.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have been loyal and a valued customer of mine.
I can honestly say I have enjoyed my time being part of Shenley community but now it is time to move on to another chapter in my life.

We have gone exceptionally quiet for some reason. We need your loyalty and make an appointment with us.

We are still wearing masks and sanitising everything after each of of customers still. This is for everyone's protection.

What is everyone's feelings about no masks and no social distancing from next week?😏
I am still very concious that covid is NOT about to disappear any time soon.
I am happy for any of our lovely customers to still wear a mask if they wish and if they want us to wear one also, we will. You only need to ask.😊
We will be allowing a few more customers in at a time bit not to the extent to what we used to before pre-covid.
If we have more than 5 or 6 customers in at one time (maximum), we are prepared to wear our masks.
We will continue with sanitisation of all gowns and towels after each use and spraying all chairs with antibacterial wipes. We will NOT be letting things return to 'normal', for a very long time, if ever.
We will still put the safety of our customers first every single time.❤
We will be able to do walk ins if we are free to do so, appointments won't always be necessary again.
Please let us know when booking an appointment if you are still concerned and we will still wear our masks.❤
Let's hope we can become a bit busier now without relaxing our duty of care.❤
