A little change to tipping at Beauty by Calandra 💕

We just wanted to let you know about a small change to the way we’ll be accepting tips at the salon.

From now on, we’ll no longer be able to accept tips through our card machine or online payments. Instead, we’re using ThankU, a dedicated tipping service that allows your tip to go directly to your therapist.

If you would like to leave a tip, you can do so in whichever way is easiest for you:

✨ Scan the ThankU QR code available in the salon
✨ Click the link at the bottom of your “Thank you for visiting” message after your appointment
✨ Leave a cash tip directly with your therapist

The reason for the change is simply to make sure our therapists receive as much of your kind gesture as possible. When tips are processed through the salon, they can be subject to additional tax and payroll processing. Using ThankU means the tip goes directly to the therapist and is taxed just once, rather than passing through the salon first.

Of course, tipping is never expected — we’re incredibly grateful for your custom and continued support, whether you choose to tip or not. ❤️
