I have the privilege of knowing an incredibly amazing lady who tragically lost her beautiful 16-year-old son, Ethan, back in April.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Ethan, I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about him, and it’s clear from every story just how deeply loved he was.

The strength and resilience Lynz has shown since losing her son is something that truly astounds me. What I admire most is that she continues to share stories about Ethan, keeping his memory and his spirit alive. The love, pride and joy she has for her son shines through in everything she says about him.

Yesterday, Lynz and her family launched Ethan’s Legacy, alongside The Albion Foundation — a truly beautiful way to honour Ethan and create something positive from such an unimaginable loss.

Lynz and one of Ethan’s friends designed the logo for the foundation, and that became the inspiration behind these nails. I only hope I’ve done their beautiful design justice.
