El's Natural's Skincare are made using natural ingredients which do not contain water like your usual commercial skincare products. Anything made with water needs a preservative to prevent bacteria from growing, so additives and chemicals are added for this. The water also sinks into the skin straight away so you get immediate moisturisation, but not an 'all day' moisture, plus these added preservatives are not good for the skin. My products are made using organic plant oils and butters which are super healing to the skin, as they hydrate the skin for longer.

Hey lovelies...I want to share with you the essential oils I use in my body butters, by my all time favourite brand doTERRA. I absolutely love these essential oils and they are not only great for the skin but can also be taken internally for amazing health benefits.

Essential oils are the essence of a plant, distilled and prepared for us all to bring the power of nature into our home. I enjoy them in my skincare, in my hair and in my food.

Wild Orange - This essential oil is one of my favourites and is also one of doTERRA's top selling essential oils. Cold pressed from the peel, this oil has a fresh, sweet and refreshing aroma. This oil is excellent for the skin with its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties making it ideal for acne, dermatitis and uncomfortable skin conditions. Thanks to the vitamin C content, it even helps reduce dark spots. Orange essential oil promotes circulation whilst simultaneously reducing enlarged pores and firming the skin.

Lavender - With its amazing healing benefits, lavender is excellent for acne, scarring, soothing and calming itchy skin. This oil also reduces the appearance of skin imperfections such as eczema, psoriasis and is excellent on sunburnt skin and equally so for oily skin. The list of lavender's benefits just goes on and on and is not only just good for the skin but for the mind and other ailments.

Lemongrass - This fresh and zesty oil gives a gentle citrusy aroma and has a vast array of benefits too. It is used in many skincare products as it purifies and tones the skin. Lemongrass is antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory making it yet another healing and calming essential oil. This oil helps relieve headaches and muscle and stomach aches. The aroma of this oil is known to heighten awareness and promote a positive outlook.
