Introducing Remedial & Sports Massage at Ritual Retreat 💆🤲

We’re excited to welcome Gareth, a highly skilled remedial and sports massage therapist.

Hi, it’s Gareth and I’ve been a sports and remedial
massage therapist since 2005, graduating from the London School of Sports Massage and it’s Diploma course. Currently resident therapist at The university of Birminghams sports and fitness centre.
I’ve worked for international and local teams including GB Skeleton winter sports, Australia swimming and cricket and a Gamesmaker therapist at London 2012 Olympics, both Paralympic and Olympic athletes.

Massage is not just about deep tissue work as many sports require! There are many areas and circumstances that require a more gentle approach and where individual require a relaxed treatment. Having essential oils can also assist in bringing about relief. Everyone is different and these options will be discussed at the beginning of each session.

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, balance and overall well-being.
I've always been a sensitive person from a young age. Never feeling comfortable in the usual pigeon holes. Back in my early twenties I was reading mind body spirit books and aware of healing modalities. In my early 30's I was attuned to Sekhem Reiki (An ancient Egyptian form) I had experiences with healing but as relationships and life happened, I didn't really immerse myself in the journey for a while. Many years and many turbulent life experiences later, I've felt guided back into my spiritual healing journey .Now having been initiated in Usui Shiki Ryoho, within a very tight lineage to the founder of this modality, I have opened up to working with others on a more permanent bases. Helping my clients on their healing journey is a true blessing 🙌
