I just want you all to know, my tent is a safe space. It's a space free from judgement, somewhere you can laugh, cry (try not to make the tan run!), and just being yourself.
You can offload about your day, or stay completely silent if you prefer - don't hesitate to tell me if you'd prefer a silent appointment.

It's a space to be unapologetically yourself, a space to build confidence, reset and recharge.
It's a space where body negativity does not live and is not allowed. We are all beautiful in our own right.

This is not an exhaustive list but these are some of the more common ones!

1. Body hair - It is normal and natural to have body hair, I am really not phased at all if you're waiting for a bikini wax, or you've missed a bit when you shaved. No judgement!

2. Your period - Again, it is completely normal and natural. Seeing a sanitary towel or a tampon string really does not bother me in the slightest. No judgement!

3. Your body - We come in different shapes and sizes. I see multiple types of bodies every day, all are normal, all are beautiful. There's no right way to have a body! I celebrate all body types. No judgement!

4. Nails - I am not phased if your fingernails/toenails aren't done, I'm not focusing on your nails, except when I remove tan from them after your tan and that is just so I can make sure they're clean. No judgement!

5. Stretch Marks/Scars - Most of us have them. I dont even notice them if I'm honest because it's so normal. Our stretch marks and scars have a story so celebrate them. No judgement!

6. Your ability - Every body deserves to have a spray tan! As long as you are able to stand, I can absolutely spray tan you! Yes even with a mobility aid, it doesn't matter how long it takes. My focus is making you comfortable and going at your own pace. No judgement!

7. Your home - I'm not there to see your home, I'm there to give you a pamper and get you glowing! We all have busy lives and I never expect to walk into a show home. No judgement!

I know, I know, some of you like a dark spray tan!
But not every solution is for every skin type, and it should be a red flag if there's no consultation or advice on what will suit your skin tone!

If you Google "Fitzpatrick Scale" you will find a quiz which will tell you what your skin tone is.
Skin type 1 being the fairest, and skin type 6 being the deepest.

Generally speaking, I wouldn't put a "dark" spray tan on a skin type 1 or 2, because it's not going to look natural. It will likely look muddy, and potentially with some orange/red undertones.

I can't tell you the amount of times I've talked someone out of going for the darkest option, and they have thanked me for it. Your undertone also matters! Everyone has a different undertone and that works well with different types and bases of tan.
