Some tattoos deserve a second chance 🦋

This tiny butterfly tattoo held so much meaning for my client — the blue and yellow representing Down syndrome awareness for her daughter, Poppie 💛💙

Over the years she became unhappy with the original piece, so after a few tattoo laser removal sessions with my girl .x  we started planning a cover-up that still honoured the original meaning.

The first idea was something small and delicate around the wrist… but then we did what we do best and let the vision grow 🤍

Butterflies, florals, softness, movement — and Poppie’s name at the heart of it all.

Cover-ups like this are my favourite. Not because we hide the old tattoo, but because we transform the story behind it.
