D. Barber shop

Well that’s it!
My last shift over and done with.
I’m absolutely overwhelmed by all the cards, flowers and gifts I received over the last few days. I’ve loved the visits from everyone, even if they didn’t need a haircut and just popped in to say goodbye!
I got an especially lovely visit off my very first barber boss yesterday (Jimmy Carter, the legend!❤️).

A special thank you to my girls Deb (good luck taking over the reins, hope your laughs are plentiful and dramas few🥰) and Sam (my right hand woman for the past year and a half, you’ve been a diamond) don’t miss me too much😂. I’ll be back in soon to see you both 🥰(you’re not getting rid of me that easy😂)

I’ve loved every minute of my time spent with you all! I will definitely miss the best customers anyone could ask for, the laughs, tears and therapy sessions 😂😢🥰

KERRY IS RETIRING!!!😁

After serving the wonderful people of Birtley for 30+ years I am hanging up my clippers!
I have loved meeting every single one of you and I am so grateful of your custom, loyalty and friendship over the years. I am truly going to miss you all!❤️

We are closed tomorrow (Monday 29th June) but I will be working Tuesday, Friday and my last shift is on Saturday (4th July, Independence Day, quite fitting! 😁)

Deb, who’s been with us for years, will be taking over the reins on Monday 6th July. She will be joined by Sam, who has been with us a while now and is a much loved part of D. Barbers.
Jordan will also be joining Debs team on 13th July (he can’t stay away😁😂).
I’m sure Deb will thrive in her new position of ‘gaffer’ at D. Barbers with her team behind her!!!
I wish them all the very best for the future ❤️🍀.

I will be popping in from time to time and hope to see you all soon.
