This is exactly why Permanent Makeup is a process, not a one-and-done treatment.

These microbladed hair strokes have healed beautifully — soft, crisp and delicate — but you can see there are areas where the pigment hasn’t retained as evenly.

And honestly? I’d sooner see a few patches than thick, blocky hair strokes that have been implanted too deeply.

With microblading, my aim isn’t to force as much pigment into the skin as possible at your first appointment. We work conservatively and build the brows in delicate layers, allowing the skin to heal before assessing what it has retained.

Some strokes may heal perfectly.
Some may soften.
Some may disappear altogether.

At your second session, we can see exactly how your skin has responded, reinforce areas that need a little more pigment and perfect the overall result.

Soft, natural brows are built in layers. Patchiness can be perfected — pigment placed too deeply is much harder to undo. 🤍

Freshly done, so right now it’s looking dark, crisp and a little bolder than the finished result.

But once healed, this will soften beautifully into subtle definition through the lash line — giving the appearance of a fuller, darker lash base without looking like obvious eyeliner.
