MONDAY MORNING MOTIVATION ✨️

You may have started hearing more and more about regulation, qualifications and whether you need to retrain. I completely understand why it's confusing. 🤯 I've personally invested thousands into my own education to get ahead of the changes, and it's one of the reasons I'm bringing these training pathways into the academy and working towards JCCP standards.
But, this isn't about panic buying another qualification because someone told you that you need one. It's about understanding what the changes could mean for your treatments, your qualifications and your business.

There’s something pretty special about watching someone go from “I’m not sure I can do this” to confidently working through a full body with indian head massage.
Today our students weren’t just learning massage techniques. They were learning how to create a treatment that feels safe, calming and professional. Understanding pressure, positioning, flow and the little details that make such a difference to the client experience. ✨️
That’s the bit we love.
Seeing the confidence grow throughout the day, watching techniques start to flow and knowing that these hands are going to go on to create some seriously relaxing experiences for their future clients. 🙌
So, today isn't just a well done. It’s you’ve learnt a new skill, challenged yourself, stepped outside your comfort zone and you're one step closer to doing this for real. 👏✨

🚨 INDUSTRY UPDATE — WITHOUT THE RAGE BAIT 🚨
Well, Parliament mentions regulation and right on cue, social media gets interesting. 😂👀
There’s been A LOT of noise around regulation, qualifications and what therapists and practitioners supposedly need to do RIGHT NOW.
So, let’s stick to the facts. 👇🏼
Parliament is actively looking at cosmetic procedures and the future regulation of the sector, ncluding education, training, qualifications and practitioner competency.
Previous Parliamentary work has already recommended minimum education and training requirements, nationally recognised standards and appropriately qualified practitioners. Regulated courses HAVE been discussed. Importantly, Ofqual regulated qualifications already exist!! 🙌
Now, in September 2026, a new Parliamentary inquiry into cosmetic procedures has opened.
So when we talk about future proofing your career, we’re not plucking it out of thin air. There is a clear direction of travel towards stronger regulation and more consistent standards.
The final education, qualification and licensing requirements have NOT yet been determined. Different students need different routes, and we’ll tell you which we genuinely think is right for YOU.👩🎓📚
And can we clear something up? 😂
Talking about future proofing isn’t scare mongering. 🙄
We’re not predicting legislation, creating rumours or telling people something is law when it isn’t. There’s a BIG difference between frightening people with speculation and keeping them informed about conversations already happening at Parliamentary level providing them with FACTS. 🙌🏼
As educators, that’s our job.
No crystal ball. 🔮
No panic selling. 😓
No rage bait. 🤣
Just education, options and the facts as we currently know them. ✅️
There are some incredible academies working together to raise standards and better our industry. ❤️ Sadly, there’s also a lot of tearing each other’s messages down and I think that does more damage than good. Surely higher standards are something we can ALL get behind. 🙌🏼

Unfortunately, I do love... 🤭🩷
Watching someone walk through the door nervous and leave thinking “I can actually do this.”
Seeing complete beginners find their confidence, students turn qualifications into an income, career changers take that first scary step and yes, apparently spending an obscene amount on student kits!! 😂
I love a busy academy.
I love adding new courses.
I love seeing students come back again and again.
And, as everyone probably knows by now, I LOVE talking about Ofqual, progression and future proofing your career. 🤣📚
More than anything, I love knowing that the training we provide can genuinely be the beginning of something completely new for someone.
