A younger version of me needed to hear this, constantly questioning if I was ‘bad’ because every time I dared to ‘shine’ or express myself I was met with passive social punishment or isolation. You’re not bad. You’ve not done something wrong. SHE is not bad. You may never understand WHY she doesn’t like you. Think of the amount of people YOU haven’t liked, for no justifiable reason! You cannot absorb and take blame for other people’s projections of you. That negativity belongs to them. I need you to promise me that you won’t allow it to shrink you. Stay big. Stay whole. Stay open. Don’t you dare change, don’t dilute yourself. Stay potent!!! Send them love in your mind (although it may be hard) and keep pursuing your joy!! Even if it means being alone.
