From Pier on the Pier, Thingamajigz, Preston Caribbean Carnival, football semi-finals, dancing event, family days out, parties, and everything in between – thank you for trusting me with your hair and helping keep me so busy!

Thank you also for your patience during what has been an incredibly busy week. Your support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate every single one of you.

Full-Time Assistant (Immediate Start)
Stacey’s Hair Braiding Studio – Blackpool
We are looking for a dedicated, reliable Assistant to work directly alongside Stacey all year round.
Role Overview:
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the studio, assisting with clients, preparing hair, maintaining cleanliness, and helping deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with braiding prep (sectioning, parting.
Keeping the studio clean, organised, and presentable
Welcoming and managing clients
Supporting Stacey during busy periods
Helping with stock and general duties

Hard-working and trustworthy
Good energy and great with people
Willingness to learn and take direction
Punctual and reliable
Passion for hair and beauty

Seasonal Assistant (Flexible / Peak Periods)

We’re hiring a Seasonal Assistant to support during busy periods (holidays, summer, events).

Role Overview:
Perfect for someone looking for flexible work, you’ll assist the team when demand is high and help keep the studio running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Assisting braiders during busy periods
Managing queues and walk-ins
Cleaning and resetting stations
Supporting with customer service

What We’re Looking For:
Flexible availability (including weekends & holidays)
Fast-paced and proactive
Friendly and confident with customers
Team player

Ideal for:
Students, part-time workers, or anyone wanting experience in the hair/beauty industry.

Join us for a fun and meaningful community event as we attempt to create Blackpool’s Longest Charity Braid along the iconic Blackpool Promenade!

This special event is being organised to raise money for two incredible charities:
❤️ Trinity Hospice
🎗️ Cancer Research UK
Both charities provide vital support to people and families affected by cancer, and every donation will help make a difference.
💛 How you can get involved:
• Come down and support on the day
• Donate if you can
• Share the event to spread the word
• Businesses are welcome to donate raffle prizes or vouchers
There will also be raffles, donations and community support to help raise as much money as possible.
