To anyone who has tried contacting the salon today, we have no internet connection and therefore no phone lines. Apologies if this has caused any inconvenience, we should be up and running again within the next couple of days.

Welcome back once again to all our lovely clients! Hopefully this will be our last welcome back post - fingers crossed! 🤞🏼

Thank you to all who have left us messages either via voicemail or Facebook- this has been super helpful for us because sometimes we need a little prompt to remind us who to call.

We have been open today but unfortunately our phones have decided not to play ball so all who ring are being directed straight to voicemail. However we have been receiving your messages today so we will get back to you as soon as we can. Hopefully they will be fixed by tomorrow afternoon so bear with us!

To those who haven’t heard from us yet, please be patient as we’re still wading through the never ending list of clients as I’m sure you can imagine. Feel free to prompt us with a phone call if you haven’t been in touch already.

To all our clients.

As you're all probably aware, Boris has released a potential re-opening date for hairdressers which at the moment stands as April 12th. We have already received many of your messages which we will in time read and respond to over the next month.

However, we think it would be better to hold off giving you an appointment until we get closer to re-opening just in case the date gets put back which I'm sure we can all agree is a possibility. This will ensure we don't have to ring around everyone for a second time to fit new guidelines.

Until then we ask you to sit tight and await a follow up post in a few weeks. Feel free to send us messages on Facebook or on our salon answer machine but they may not be responded to straight away.

It is once again that we must close that ridiculously heavy salon door until further notice.

We're sorry for our radio silence on Facebook recently but as you can imagine there have been many battles we have had to face over the last year.

However, this particular group of women are determined to stay positive and strong whilst looking toward not just a new year but a fresh start.

We thank you all for your support and understanding and are also looking forward to some drastic hair interventions with hopefully new stories to tell which don't contain the dreaded 'C' word.

When we have more information about being able to reopen, we will of course be in contact regarding your appointments.

Until then, stay safe and stay away from the box dyes.

A MESSAGE FOR OUR CLIENTS!

We are doing our best to respond to your much appreciated messages, so we please ask you to remain patient for just a little longer!

We will be doing our part by keeping you all safe by putting the necessary sanitary measures in place and adhering to government guidelines.

When the day of your appointment arrives, we would like to give you some guidelines to follow in order to do your part in keeping Covid safe!

• Firstly, if you or anyone in your household or that you have been in contact with have been showing any symptoms, no matter how mild, PLEASE CANCEL your appointment and don’t attend the salon for two weeks.

• On the day of your appointment, bring as few belongings as possible, ie. bags, books, coats, etc

• We will be wearing visors during your appointment and although not compulsory, we recommend you bring your own face mask if possible. If you don’t have one, we will be providing some at the the front desk.

• We won’t be providing teas and coffees, but the water machine will be available for use.

• Our usual selection of magazines won’t be available and we recommend not bringing unnecessary items such as entertainment materials.

• We will have a hand sanitising station at the front of the salon so we ask that you sanitise on entry and exit.

• As we are trying to avoid a surplus amount of people in the salon, we ask that you don’t bring anyone with you to your appointment if possible.

• As above, to avoid too many people gathering in the salon at once, please be ON TIME for your appointment and not too early and it is advised that if you’re going to be late then call to let us know and we will reschedule you.

• We also ask that on making appointments that you don’t come into the salon to do so, but message us on Facebook if possible. Also upon reopening on July 4th, the salon will be extremely busy and we may not be able to answer the phone as promptly. However, we will have a receptionist in on most mornings so ring in the morning if possible.

• Lastly, we will be providing 10% discount for NHS workers upon proof of ID as an extra thank you to them!

As you all are probably aware, the government has given the go ahead for salons to reopen on Saturday July 4th.

As you can imagine, we are overwhelmed with booking requests and will do our best to contact each client as quickly and efficiently as we can.

We will get in touch with clients over the next week after a staff briefing about our way forward which will take place in the couple of days.

Following the recent government updates on business re-openings, the salon won’t be opening on June 15th but we will hopefully be able to continue business at the beginning of July.

We don’t have a specific date yet as we have to wait for an official government announcement. We hope you are all well and will hopefully see you in the not too distant future. Stay safe!

Salon Notice:

Hello to all our clients! We hope you have all been keeping safe and well.

Despite not knowing when exactly we will reopen our doors to you, we would like to inform you that all of our staff are Barbicide trained.

The salon will be fully sanitised when the salon opens and will be sterilised throughout the day.

All staff will be wearing face masks for everyone's protection, and if you wish to wear one then please bring your own as we have a limited number.

Hand sanitiser will be available to use in the salon, as well as the regular hand washing facilities.

There will be as few people as possible in the salon at one time, so we must also ask for clients not to bring anyone to your appointment unless previously agreed.
