We honestly don’t quite know where to start!

We were completely blown away by how many of you came to celebrate with us last night. Seeing the salon full of clients, friends, family and familiar faces from over the years meant more to us than we can put into words. 🥹

Thank you so much for all the lovely cards, presents and incredibly kind words. We feel very lucky to have so many amazing people around us.

The raffle certainly gave us a laugh too… 😂 Out of all 6 prizes, not ONE winner was actually at the party! So we decided we couldn’t have a room full of people celebrating with us without somebody winning something, and added an extra prize on the night! 🎁😂

And then there was Josh… who completely forgot to do his speech. 😳😂
(Although anyone who knows him knows speaking in front of a crowd isn’t exactly his favourite thing!)

So here’s what he wanted to say…

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came last night, everyone who has supported us, every client who has walked through our doors, our friends and family, and every single person who has been part of the Head Hunters team over the years.

We genuinely couldn’t have reached 25 years in business and 10 years in our current salon without you all. ❤️

And finally, the biggest thank you has to go to Marie.

25 years ago, she was the one who started this whole journey. What began with her taking that first step has grown into everything Head Hunters is today.

Marie — this celebration was yours too. ❤️

📍 Head Hunters Hair & Beauty, Bispham

This Saturday we celebrate something very special… 25 years of Head Hunters and 10 years in our Bispham Village salon. ❤️

But our story actually began long before Head Hunters opened its doors.

Marie started her hairdressing journey at just 16 years old, travelling from Billinge to Blackpool to train and begin a career that has now spanned an incredible 40 years.

Hairdressing was always a huge part of family life. When Marie had her children, they grew up around the salons she worked in — spending time there, watching her work and being brought up around the industry she loved.

That love clearly rubbed off, as two of her children, Josh and Ryan, went on to become hairdressers themselves.

After Josh had worked alongside Marie for 8 years in the original Head Hunters salon, the two of them took the next big step together and opened our larger salon here in Bispham Village.

That was 10 years ago this month. 🥂

Since then, we're incredibly proud to have had Ryan working alongside us for over 8 years, making Head Hunters a true family-run salon.

But when we say family, we don't just mean by blood. ❤️

Corie has been part of Head Hunters for over 12 years and Anita for 9 years. After all those years working side by side, sharing the busy days, the laughs, the ups and downs and probably far too many stories to mention, they're not just members of our team — they're family to us.

And now we have Jayden, the newest member of our Head Hunters family, who joined us just a few months ago and is at the beginning of his own journey in the industry.

There's something really special about celebrating Marie's 40 years in hairdressing while watching someone new start to build their own career with us. Who knows where the next 40 years will take him! ❤️

Over the last quarter of a century, so many other people have been part of our story too. We'd like to thank every previous member of the Head Hunters team who has helped us become the salon we are today. Whether you were with us for a short chapter or many years, you're part of our history.

And most importantly, thank you to our clients.

Some of you have been coming through our doors for years — even decades. You've trusted us with first haircuts, new styles, big colour changes, wedding hair, family occasions and all the little catch-ups in between.

You've watched our family grow, and in many cases, we've had the privilege of watching yours grow too.

We've always wanted Head Hunters to be somewhere that feels friendly, happy and welcoming, while still giving you the professional service you deserve.

Without all of you, there simply wouldn't be a Head Hunters.

40 years since Marie first started her hairdressing journey.

And a lifetime of memories. ❤️
