When I moved to Bodmin, I had been here just a year. I didn’t know many people and I was still finding my feet.

Starting at Nova became one of the most important chapters of my life.

So many pivotal moments have happened for me within those four walls professionally and personally. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside the most incredible, strong, supportive women, and I can honestly say this has been the happiest I’ve ever felt in my career so far.

Hearing the news that Nova will be closing on 24th April felt emotional. Of course, I believe when one door closes another opens but that doesn’t take away from the sense of loss. The girls. The laughter. The conversations. The guests I’ve been so lucky to meet and build relationships with.

When Nova closes its doors for the final time, I’m choosing to take this as a sign to slow down. I went back to work quite quickly after having both of my boys, and right now I feel called to take a little time to fully enjoy this season with Storm and Ocean before deciding what’s next.

Until then, I’ll be finishing this chapter with gratitude and intention.

For my remaining days in the salon, I’ll be offering a complimentary cut & blow-dry with every colour appointment as a thank you.
