If you’re using tretinoin at night, don’t forget to protect your lips.

Tretinoin increases cell turnover and is highly effective for acne, pigmentation and photoageing, but it can also cause dryness and irritation, particularly around sensitive areas.

Apply a thin layer of Vaseline to the lips before your tretinoin. Petrolatum acts as an occlusive barrier, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) whilst helping protect the delicate lip area from accidental tretinoin exposure.

Think of it as buffering the areas you don’t want your retinoid to reach. 🛡️

Small changes = better tolerance = better consistency = better results ✨
